For a serious chew session
This is a great chew for Labs when they want to settle in for serious gnawing and chomping. It doesn't leave little sharp particles all over the floor nor does it come apart (as in the head being chewed off first). It is also easily washable after it's been dragged out into the yard. Worth the money for a chew that they like this much and which lasts this long.
I have a 1 year old pomchi (5lbs) and she loves this toy. I bought it at the same time a the Nylabone chew bone and she prefers this one over that one. I think it has something to do with the little bumps on T-rex. Since she is teeny tiny, it obviously lasts a lot longer for her than a 100lb dog. She's had it about a month and there has been some wear and tear, but that is to be expected.
We have numerous dobermann's who are super chewers with their toys. I'm always testing toys/chews. This is a durable item if you can keep them interested. Con's, could break teeth, use caution.
Keeps the pug's interest
4 yr old pug enjoys chewing on "dino" at least an hour per day. The bacon scent is appealing. This a hard, prickly toy so beware of stepping on it in the middle of the night :-).
A winner for small dogs
Our 10lb and 20lb girls love this, esp in chicken flavor, small size works for them and unlike many other chews (ex: rawhide) this doesn’t break into choke-able parts, lasts well w/o becoming a gummy mess!
She loves it
I have a 6 month old Jack Russell Terrier. She absolutely adores this chew. She is a voracious chewer and it has held up wonderfully and is large enough that I don't have to worry about her choking on it. Also, it is bright white which keeps it from being stepped on with bare feet.
Nylabone Dinosaur Chew
Our puppy Elvis loves his new Dinosaur chew. It's easy for him to hold and chew. It looks like it will last a long time.
One Happy Furbaby
My pup is OBSESSED with her Dino! She’s a 2yo hound-retriever mix and a serious chomper. This toy has held up well, other than the neck and tail of her brachiosaurus—both very gone by now, but it still took her some time to destroy! It’s her happy toy.
Sturdy, keeps them occupied, happy.
This is a very sturdy challenge for my dog. No bits chewed off to step on, sturdy enough so that she doesn't think she has to chew for hours until its gone. This is The One.
Dog loves this thing. Seems to prefer it over all her other toys. It's pretty durable. Then again, this is a bird dog with a pretty soft mouth so I don't know how it would stand up to an aggressive chewer. But my dog doesn't seem to be able to wear it out despite constant gnawing on it.
