Every dog has a different chewing style and strength. That's why we make chew toys in all different kinds of sizes, shapes, flavors, and textures. For chewers big and small, Nylabone chews best!
Have always purchased Nylabone items for my dogs thru the years, & feel they're safe & good dental/gum health. However, when purchasing these didn't see any inf that they were for dogs only up to 25 lbs! My dogs are full grown German Shepherd dogs weighing over 70 lbs each! Unsafe for my dogs; very disappointing & now a waste of money & no treats for my dogs!
My MaltiShih Tzu loves this product. He is in his puppy stage & loves to chew on everything. This keeps him happy & he chews on it for a long period of time. He likes the bacon-peanut butter flavor. I have ended up purchasing another one to have on hand when were traveling or he can take it outdoors in the warmer weather. This product has kept him from chewing on my personal things. I would recommend to anyone who has a puppy or dog that is a chewer.
When this toy first arrived, I was a little concerned about its durability as my dog loves to chew and destroy everything. After about 2 weeks I can say that it has held up well and my dog absolutely loves it. It also has a noticeable scent that I think adds to his interest.
I'm so sorry. I ordered this thing my dogs would love the toys the taste of peanut butter and bacon but as soon as my husband opened it, they were so excited then my male tasted it then just dropped it n never touched it again. My female did the same, so this won't be an autoship product.
These are good for a small to medium dog, even the aggressive chewer. I have 2 large dogs that are EXTREME chewers! These have held up for the most part; no pieces have been chewed off or anything. My dogs do love these, they are just a bit small for them. I would highly recommend these for medium or smaller dogs! They just aren't big enough for my dogs' mouths. I would definitely buy these again if they came in a larger size!
I purchased this item along with two other chew toys. For whatever reason the other two garnered Woodrow's attention first. I imagine when he get through with one or both of the others he will be willing to get started on this one. He has a bin that all his toys are kept in and he does trot this one out occasionally he just doesn't chew on it at the present time.
This was supposed to taste like bacon. All 3 of my dogs seem to like the smell but after 2 of them had chewed on it, it left hard sharp pieces sticking out that had cut their gums and tongues. I quickly took it away and threw it in the trash.
I like how there are 2 flavors within this pretzel. My dog, Piper has already chewed both ends, so I would say she likes it!
She immediately saw the Chewy box, when our FedEx man brought it to the door, and had to see what she had gotten. I opened the box and gave it to her and she chewed on it off and on all day. She is such an appreciative girl.
My puppy loves nylabones, but not this pretzel. He wants to like it, and grabs it, then immediately drops it. He must find the smell or taste off-putting.
