I got a t-rex shape, and it is the perfect size and good hardness for my teething puppy. She can hold the toy between her paws and carry it around. The different curves in the shape of this toy helps make it easier to pick up off the ground for my slightly uncoordinated puppy. The different curves in the shape of this toy helps make it easier to pick up off the ground for my slightly uncoordinated puppy. After one day of chewing, my puppy turned the feet of the t-rex into dangling bits. They were still holding on very strong (I couldn't pull it off with bare hands), so I used scissors to cut the bits off. The head is holding up very well on the other hand. Just keep an eye on your pup while she chews, but overall she loves this toy. Maybe because the smell is so chicken-y. … more

I don’t know how this has so many good reviews. Within minutes small chunks of this were coming off. He definitely swallowed some of the outer plastic casing. This toy should have been designed to be tougher for teething puppies. It seems like this toy would only be good for dogs that bite gently. Honestly I don’t know how this has so many good reviews. Tyrannosauros Fun!
By KatR on Jan 26, 2021
We adopted a 1 year old Papillon mix a couple months ago. He's the first male dog I've had in several years, so I wanted to get him a "boy toy". He absolutely loves his dino-chewing and tossing it all around. Oreo (our little guy) turned out to be a tough chewer, and has destroyed a handful of other toys, but his dino stands up to his chewing. He likes it so much that we got one for each of our homes, and one to spare; but the original one is still at least 90% intact.

The best for a teething pup!
By Alexis1003 on Jan 24, 2021
The best toy for a teething puppy! We put it in the freezer and then let her play with it and she LOVES it! The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because it was a little small for our golden doodle pup, which could've been my fault because I'm not sure if there were different sizes I could have ordered it in.

Great chew toy
By Alex on Jan 22, 2021
My 6 month old pup has had this for a month now & loves it. I bought two of them so I can rotate them in the freezer. He is starting to really try to break it so that he can find the food he tastes. So far its held up.

Dog enjoys
By Chuck on Jan 15, 2021
Piper is a small dog (12.5 pounds) and really enjoys her dinosaur. It is the perfect size and the different angles make it easy for her to hold onto. She even walks around with it. Also, she is a major chewer and has destroyed many, many toys but not this one.

This is a great option for puppy or small breed chewers who love the Nylabones but find regular sizes too heavy

Nylabone toys are best!
By Julie on Jan 10, 2021
For teething or light to medium chewers Nylabone toys last. For heavy chewers they will keep a dog busy for a while, but will be destroyed in a few hours. I have had several different breeds, from chihuahuas to American Staffs, and they all loved Nylabone toys.

Perfect for tiny teether

My Yorkie puppy loves this toy when his teeth hurt. He wasn’t interested when he first came home, but around 15+ weeks he loved it.

Good for puppy
By SephtheHusky on Jan 8, 2021
Perfect first toy for my Siberian Husky puppy when I brought her home. I leave it in her crate overnight since it doesn’t pose a choking hazard. It’s also a convenient size to carry with me at vet visits, etc. to use as a distraction toy. Only four stars because it’s not her absolute favourite toy that she picks first for playtime. I have to offer it to get her enticed. But overall a worthwhile purchase.
