Description

Oasis Small Animal Water Bell Bottle & Guard Holder Set comes with a durable 4-ounce, plastic bottle and the Oasis Basic Hold-Guard, which is specifically designed to safely hold the bottle. The drinking tube is perfectly sized for hamsters, gerbils, mice, fancy rats, sugar gliders, pygmy hedgehogs, and even baby guinea pigs, small breed baby bunnies and some scaly sidekicks, too! The metal, powder-coated Basic Hold-Guard can be hung up using the included adjustable metal hanging strap or mounted by attaching it to the side of a cage or a wooden wall with a screw!

Key Benefits
  • Great for mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters, hedgehogs and more!
  • The rounded bottle top discourages your pet from chewing.
  • The Basic Hold-Guard helps protect the water bottle and keeps it in place.
  • Comes with an adjustable strap that easily hangs over the top edges of most wire cages and aquariums.
  • The Basic Hold-Guard and bottle are designed to go together for added safety—mismatched bottles and guards can create dangerous gaps between the two pieces, trapping legs, toes and tails.

Ships in a variety of random and fun colors!

Instructions

Hanging Mount:

The Hanger-Guard’s adjustable metal hanging strap swings up into place, hangs from top edge. The easy to adjust hanger strap fits many sizes of aquarium-type pet environments. Simply bend the strap to fit over the top edge of the aquarium. If the bottle needs to be lowered, re-bend the strap a bit closer to its end. If the bottle needs to be higher, re-bend the strap closer to its attachment to the Hold-Guard. The hanging strap may also be passed through cage wires of metal rabbit or guinea pig cages, or through vent-openings in plastic travel carriers.

Solid Wood Wall Mount:

Leave strap in original folded position when attaching to a solid wall with screw or bolt. Using a wood screw that passes through the eyelet that attaches the metal hanging strap, simply attach the guard to the wooden wall or cage side so that the drinking tube of the mounted bottle is positioned at shoulder height to the pet. This option works well in solid sided rabbit hutches and similar cages or reptile habitats.

    Leaks incredibly

    By on

I waited over a week to receive this item to only find when I went to use it that the water would literally be pouring out of the end where my pet was drinking causing water to go all over.

    Pretty Good

    By on

Doesn’t leak, perfect size for one animal, but I’m using a tank for my pet and the sticky Velcro isn’t as sticky as needed to hold the weight of the bottle filled. I had to pour out half of the water from it to somewhat keep it from tilting and unsticking from the glass

works great, for the most part!

    By on

It was a little smaller than I thought but this turned out to be a good thing because it encourages me to change out the water more frequently! I use a 40 gallon aquarium tank so I had some trouble hanging this water bottle off the edge, the metal tab they provided wasn't long enough. A bit of packaging tape helped me right out though!

You gotta rig it to get it to work

    By on

I had to put a wad of paper towel behind the bottle in the holder so it would be at the right angle for water to come out. Other than that, it's great. I love that it has a holder rather than a wire to hang it. I use a tank with my mice and I just stuck the holder on the inside. I can take the bottle out easily and put it back for refills.

    Not impressed

    By on

I have one that works great in one gerbil cage, so I ordered one off here for our other gerbil cage. The bottle just drizzles the water out. It made the bedding soaked.

    Worked well for fair usage

    By on

This was a good size to take to the local fair and place on the breeding rabbit cages. It did not leak and you ony had to add once during the day.

    Best water bottle

    By on

I have tried multiple water bottles and this is the only one I have found that has not leaked. It fits perfectly in the cage and my quinea pig loves it. The small one is the perfect size for 1 animal. I will definitely recommend.

    Small but no leaking

    By on

I've tried a Natural Pet and a Kaytee bottle before I picked up one of these and they both leaked like crazy. This one is roughly half the size BUT no leaks! My boys had been drinking out of dishes so honestly I was worried they'd not even use it but I hear the hungry slurp of licking rats all day, I just have to be sure to refill it daily. It's also very very easy to hang on the bars of the critter nation! No wrestling with a safety clip like on the glass bottles, it just sits inside the chew guard and slides right out.

    Great Water Bottle!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I love these water bottles because they work well for both aquariums & wire cages. They leak a little bit, especially if you have a pet (like a large hamster) who climbs on them, but no more than any other water bottle & perhaps a little better than most. The small size is good for aquariums because you still have room for plenty of bedding. I do wish they came in a larger size for larger pets like guinea pigs & ferrets though.
