Description

Designed especially for delicate eaters—like the marine Butterfly fish—the Feeding Frenzy Grid Feeder Clip helps simulate the natural feeding environment of tropical fish. In coral reef habitats, Angel fish, Tangs and Butterfly fish pick their food from coral heads and live rocks throughout the day, eating slowly rather than all-at-once. This clip helps to simulate that natural instinct by keeping food intact and allowing your finned friends to graze at their leisure.

Key Benefits
  • Unique food clip encourages natural feeding behaviors in grazing fish, like Angels or Butterfly fish.
  • Keeps food in-tact by holding it upright and providing support.
  • Holds seaweed underwater using a long, sturdy gripping surface.
  • Simulates coral environments, where tropical fish pick their food off rocks and other hard surfaces.
  • Grazing fish can stop to enjoy savory bites at their leisure—like a snack on-the-go.

    Works for the right food

By ShrinkWrapped on Nov 10, 2019

I used zip ties to close the sides and put frozen brine shrimp or mysis shrimp in the mesh holder; this allows the food to thaw in the water without one of the larger fish taking the majority of the food. Small pieces float away while the bigger fish try to rip chunks off it. I'd give it 5 stars but the suction cups are not great and I did need to modify with zip ties to get it right.
