I've tried the very fine Okocat litter, and that was too fine. She kept tracking it out of the litter box. So I decided I needed something a little more coarse, but this Original is like corn kernels. She tracks it all over and if you step on it barefoot, you'll know it. Cat litter

No dust, which I love! Urine does not completely soak down in litter at times

My favorite litter
By Mardee on Jan 9, 2021
This is my favorite litter I have used that my cats will use. Clumps pretty well, my favorite part is that it doesn't have a strong smell of its own (just smells like wood) and definitely helps control odor. Previously used pretty litter and you could always smell the pee and stuff, but I don't smell anything with this litter unless I'm cleaning out the box. Lasts me a long time too and I have three cats so I like that I don't have to buy it all the time. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it does stick to the cats paws a bit and get stuck to the floor and things sometimes when they walk around after.

Great litter
By Ellie on Jan 9, 2021
I’ve tried lots of different litter including tofu, walnut shell, regular clay etc. I think this is my favorite so far. It’s lighter weight, actually has very little or no dust (unlike many that claim this, it actually seems to be true), and controls odor better than any I’ve tried before. Happy I found this!!

Love this Litter
By Mercysmom on Jan 9, 2021
I have six cats and they have a lovely Catio where their litter boxes reside. Make that four LARGE boxes that are not covered. In school they all excelled in the class of "flip the litter out of the box" and this litter has not only cut down on the amount I sweep up daily but also actually clumps better. I also like the idea that this litter is biodegradeable as I always was concerned about the amount of litter going into the landfills.

best stuff there is!
By taylor on Dec 31, 2020
I have tried so many different types of litter to find one that does not smell. I live in a tiny room with my cat and after a few days with other litter the smell would be unbearable, even with scooping daily! This stuff I can scoop every other day and other than a nice pine aroma there is no odor! I love this so much.

Our cat’s didn’t like this litter and would’t use. Nothing wrong with it, just our cat’s opinion.

Best litter I've ever used
By Daph on Dec 30, 2020
I've been scooping litter in a multiple cat household my whole life. I'm currently on my 4th generation of cats, and this is, hands down, the best litter I've ever used. For awhile I was a fan of a wheat-based litter and then I discovered a tea leaves based litter (I guess I'm not supposed to mention competitor names), which was awesome but crumbled too much, but this is the first litter I've ever used that I never have to replace. In other words, I never have to dump the whole batch, clean the box, and start fresh. As long as I scoop liberally, rather than sifting it down to just the waste itself, the box stays really clean. Also, the boxes don't smell (at least with pee - if there's poop I've been scooping litter in a multiple cat household my whole life. Also, the boxes don't smell (at least with pee - if there's poop, you obviously have to scoop it). And it's super lightweight, which is important to me on both ends. The only drawback is that it's really dusty, and I do worry about that for both cats and me. But the options I've found that aren't dusty have other problems, like a strong chemical smell. One of my cats doesn't like the sharp feel of this litter, so I keep a couple of boxes of the super soft formula for him. That one is also good but even dustier. … more

It's the cat's favorite
By Selena on Dec 14, 2020
My main requirement was to find a litter that my cat would actually use, every time. Once that was met, I had a bunch of secondary criteria I was looking for: 1) Absorbs odors without having to use artificial fragrances to cover them (the standard commercial cat litter smell makes me nauseous). 2) Is environmentally friendly (both to produce and dispose of). 3) Lasts a few weeks before needing to be replaced. This litter does everything I need it to do. First, my cat loves it, the weirdo sometimes just plays in it, even when he doesn't have to go potty. There is no standard "cat litter" smell to this at all, it's totally unscented but the material manages to absorb the odors, no smelly My main requirement was to find a litter that my cat would actually use, every time. I find I only need to do a full replacement once a month. I'll refill the box as needed throughout the month, but this lasts a long time before it wears out and needs to be dumped. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that my cat manages to track it everywhere. I find these little pellets all over the house and I just keep a broom in the bathroom with the litter box so I can sweep around it whenever I pass by. It's not a huge chore, but I know tracking litter can be annoying so I thought I'd mention it. … more
