As each dog is unique, the feeding amounts will vary. Use this chart as a general guideline and adjust accordingly.

Steep for 10 minutes in warm water and some oil. Then mix in with the dog's regular food.

The addition of a small amount of oil helps convert more of the beta - carotene to the beneficial vitamin A. Good oils to use are salmon oil, flax seed oil, organic coconut oil, but most kitchen oils can be used, even olive oil. Oil should not be added when feeding puppy good or high performance dog foods because those have a higher fat content, which is sufficient to aid the beta - carotene to a vitamin A conversion.

  • TMI Alert: No more Anal Gland issues!

    By on

Dont let my boy's handsome looks fool you- he is quite capable of being DISGUSTING! He has had a SERIOUS anal gland issue, "fishing" as I call it.. Just constantly releasing, when he barks.. when he's excited.. when he's scared. Every single day I was having to pull out the wet wipes to chase him down and wipe his stinky foul smelling fishy bum! Searching high and low for an answer, I stumbled upon the importance of some extra insoluble fiber in aiding him to release his anal glands naturally while pooping. THIS IS MY SOLUTION! He "fishes" once a month tops now, when it used to be an everyday, sometimes multiple times a day! This has also helped my girl dog who has GI issues finally have Dont let my boy's handsome looks fool you- he is quite capable of being DISGUSTING! He "fishes" once a month tops now, when it used to be an everyday, sometimes multiple times a day! This has also helped my girl dog who has GI issues finally have firm stool. She was always back and forth completely at random with how soft her poop would be, even with probiotics and a healthy diet that suited her perfectly. This was the ideal addition to have her consistently pooping firm and easily. We tried pumpkin previously and it just gave them worse stools. This is a necessity!! 10/10 recommend to those whose dogs have anal gland issues or the occasional soft poops! :) … more

  • Wow! I love these carrots

    By on

My greyhound has had issues with loose stool since I got him 3 years ago. We tried everything; new foods, probiotics, antibiotics, etc. I was sick of going to the vet with no results. Finally I tried these carrots and they have worked well so far! I wouldn't say that they're magic, but they're certainly helping my boy with his tummy issues. Would recommend to any greyhound owner with the same issues. Definitely worth the try!

  • In Theory It Should Work... Someone Should Tell The Dog

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I've tried for over a year now to firm up the putting like poop my labrador. I have tried everything from pumpkin to pre-biotics probiotics supplements and of course so many trips to the veterinarian we are on a first name basis. I have done lots of research with the Internet as well as dog breeders to figure out what is lacking or in too much of abundance with this dog to get him to produce a solid poop. When this product was presented it look like it would work in theory because of the added fiber content. Also because greyhounds have the same sort of issue and it works very well in the greyhound circles among those breeders. I was overjoyed to try the product and stuck to the instructions I've tried for over a year now to firm up the putting like poop my labrador. There was only one kink in the chain and that was my dog... he still is producing putting poop! So while the reviews on this product seem to be wonderful for many people who have tried it, and while it may seem to work in theory someone needs to tell my dog because it just does not work for us. We are still on the hunt for the product that can clean up the putting poop! … more

  • Border collie nervous stool

I have a young border who has very liquid stools and this helps add more fiber and bulk. I’ve tried all kinds of food and raw diet helped but she isn’t easily boarded on raw.

  • Would totally recommend

    By on

One of my dogs was having some on and off digestive issues. I started both dogs on this and they love it! All of the digestive problems are gone and both of them have a brighter, clearer look in their eyes (not sure if it has to do with these but I can't think of anything else...)

  • Olewo - Great digestive food product.

    By on

For almost 7-8 years out of 9, I have been trying to get easy cleanup poop out of my 115 lbs Cane Corso. Stools started out at times solid nuggets but then would finish up as pudding making it difficult to clean up. I happened upon a review of which I cannot recall where from but wanted to try once again to get control of my Boris' stool. Olewo dehydrated carrots have done an outstanding job and gets high praise for working so well. The carrots work so well I will be trying their beets in the future to see if they also will do what is advertised. Olewo carrots get a 10 out to 10 in doing what it says it would.

  • Good for firm stools

    By on

This has helped my two Shepherds have normal stools and lose weight. And they like it! I put a little coconut oil in when I make a pitcher of it and then put a scoop on each feeding.

  • Extra fiber is good!

Olewo carrots are dehydrated, so it takes a few minutes to rehydrate them, but the dogs love them and it helps their digestion.

  • Will Not Eat

My two dogs will not eat these carrots. This is the second time I've tried them. I guess they just don't like the taste.

  • Works for Minor Tummy Troubles!

    By on

My pup has a pretty sensitive stomach so I have to pretty much keep him on the same diet, anything new doesn't seem to agree with him! He seems to either be constipated or the opposite. Just a teaspoon of this daily has really helped to regulate him and he loves the taste!
