As each dog is unique, the feeding amounts will vary. Use this chart as a general guideline and adjust accordingly.

Steep for 10 minutes in warm water and some oil. Then mix in with the dog's regular food.

The addition of a small amount of oil helps convert more of the beta - carotene to the beneficial vitamin A. Good oils to use are salmon oil, flax seed oil, organic coconut oil, but most kitchen oils can be used, even olive oil. Oil should not be added when feeding puppy good or high performance dog foods because those have a higher fat content, which is sufficient to aid the beta - carotene to a vitamin A conversion.

Store product in dry place protected from light.

    GREAT FOR STOPPING LOOSE STOOLS

    By on

I have a 1 year old Doberman Pincher. She has had issues with her stools being loose from the begining. I have tried different foods, probiotic chews, nothing seemed to work. So my friend told me about using dehydrated carrots with a spurt of salmon oil. I feed twice a day top her food with a hydrated table spoon of the carrots with the salmon oil, doing this has made her stool nice and firm. I have 3 dogs and do it for all they love it and so do I.

    amazing diarrhea fix

    By on

My dog got giardia around the time I was transiting her to raw. after 2 rounds or antibiotics and going back to her dry food and months of frustration. I found this. Not only is she now happily eating 50% raw diet but her poop is back to normal. This fixed months of off and on diarrhea and is making the transition to raw much easer. Much better then pumpkin. Will be keeping this on hand from now on.

    14 Y/O Beagle

    By on

Who has always had issues with his stool, but over the past year has had chronic diarrhea that has lead to long term antibiotics. He can’t go 3 days without the meds or the symptoms resurface. So I give him these carrots to help support his system. He loves them, but he’s a beagle so he’ll eat anything.

    Wow--this is amazing stuff!

    By on

I read about Olewo Carrots on a IBD dog forum. I have an 11 mo pup who had GI issues since we got her at 4 mo. A specialist recently diagnosed her with either IBD or food allergies and put her on prescription food. She would still have soft stools or diarrhea frequently and did not like the prescription kibble. I thought I would try this just to see if she would eat better because, after all, dogs love carrots right? As I was making the first batch for my three dogs, the little picky pup kept coming up to the counter sniffing. I mixed it in with her kibble and she gobbled it down. Amazing, since I usually have to coax her to eat! I really didn't think it would help her stools, however I read about Olewo Carrots on a IBD dog forum. She has only been on it for three days, but three days of perfect poo. A win for us. All three of my dogs love this and all three have had great stools. Only a doggy mom of an IBD dog can appreciate how great this is. If your dog has GI issues, just give this a try! I do mix in the minimal amount of organic coconut oil, as my pup cannot tolerate anything with a high fat content, but so far she is doing well. … more

    Digestive issues

    By on

This product is amazing!!! Used it for one of my dogs that had loose stools for weeks. All test results for parasites, etc., came back negative. After just one use, his stools were back to normal. After reading all of the benefits of the dehydrated carrots, I decided to feed it to all three of my dogs for their overall digestive health. I also purchased the dehydrated beets for their benefits as well and mix the two together.....they love it!

    Good for horses

My mare loves this stuff. It's really good for horses. She looks great . And it's also easy to feed. You can feed it by its self or mix it with their feed. Wish they would get bigger bags !

    Great product. Highly recommend

    By on

My dog has had soft stools / diarrhea ever since I got him as a puppy. I've tried numerous foods (sensitive skin & stomach and other limited ingredient diets), probiotics, etc. and he still had soft stools. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. It firmed up his stools after the first feeding. I also gave it to my other dog who does not have G.I. issues and it firmed his stool up as well. I'm thankful I found this product and would definitely recommend someone try it if their dog is having G.I. issues.

Papi and Buttons will eat almost anything

    By on

My dogs won’t go near this the first day I put it on their food they wouldn’t eat their food... but to make sure I threw it out and gave them their food again without the carrots and they ate their food I washed my hands then I gave them a bit of carrots in from my hand they turned their nose up and walked away. I give my dogs freshpet so naturally I thought this would be a product they would eat because there is carrots in freshpet and I also give them dice carrots and sometimes beech nut carrot baby food mixed in their dry food when I give them dry to give it a bit more nutritious. Bottom line they love carrots but they wouldn’t go near this
