As each dog is unique, the feeding amounts will vary. Use this chart as a general guideline and adjust accordingly.

Steep for 10 minutes in warm water and some oil. Then mix in with the dog's regular food.

The addition of a small amount of oil helps convert more of the beta - carotene to the beneficial vitamin A. Good oils to use are salmon oil, flax seed oil, organic coconut oil, but most kitchen oils can be used, even olive oil. Oil should not be added when feeding puppy good or high performance dog foods because those have a higher fat content, which is sufficient to aid the beta - carotene to a vitamin A conversion.

    Great product. Highly recommend

    By on

My dog has had soft stools / diarrhea ever since I got him as a puppy. I've tried numerous foods (sensitive skin & stomach and other limited ingredient diets), probiotics, etc. and he still had soft stools. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. It firmed up his stools after the first feeding. I also gave it to my other dog who does not have G.I. issues and it firmed his stool up as well. I'm thankful I found this product and would definitely recommend someone try it if their dog is having G.I. issues.

Papi and Buttons will eat almost anything

    By on

My dogs won’t go near this the first day I put it on their food they wouldn’t eat their food... but to make sure I threw it out and gave them their food again without the carrots and they ate their food I washed my hands then I gave them a bit of carrots in from my hand they turned their nose up and walked away. I give my dogs freshpet so naturally I thought this would be a product they would eat because there is carrots in freshpet and I also give them dice carrots and sometimes beech nut carrot baby food mixed in their dry food when I give them dry to give it a bit more nutritious. Bottom line they love carrots but they wouldn’t go near this

    Dogs love it!

I got this as both our dogs were having digestive issues. They not only love this and eat all their food now but also the issues they were having seem to have cleared up pretty quickly. We'll be sticking with this topper for sure.

    Great for firming stool

    By on

This was recommended in the past from other greyhound owners. I do think this helps with the stool consistency for my female. I would say to read the instructions carefully, my husband was reading them wrong and ended up making a TON for the first time he tried re hydrating them. I have not tried this for treating significant diarrhea, only in firming up stool a bit.

    Firms up the stool

    By on

This helped firm up the stool a lot. Followed the recommendation on the back and my greyhound was eliminating often and they were HUGE. Now I put one tablespoon of this DRY in his food and he still gobbles it up and has been going A LOT less and they are firm! for the first time since we got him

    They must taste amazing

    By on

I've been supplementing my ridgeback's kibble with these carrots for a few weeks now. I added them to his diet to help his anal glands with firmer stools. First off, he loves they way they taste. I've been preparing them per the instructions with coconut oil. He can't get the bowl clean enough when these are added to his dinner. We haven't had any scooting in recent weeks and his stools have been very firm. It does take a few minutes to prepare them each night, but definitely worth it with these results.

    Definitely changed their digestion

    By on

Stool is firmer and their stomachs are less gassy. You have to remember to start soaking it a little while before you feed but overall super good supplement
