My rainbow fish and pleco really love these. I put them in a cup with a little water, swish it around, pour it into the aquarium and they immediately sink to the bottom.
My mystery snail and ramshorn's enjoy these. I believe these are responsible for the Purple Mystery Snail's sudden burst of growth. :) She's eatin' good!
Anytime I feed this to my shrimp I have between 5 or 10 die. I don't know why some eat it and live and others don't.I feed them various foods and only notice the die off when I use this food. Maybe it's a bad batch.
I have two catfish and one large apple snail all of whom love this stuff. It immediately sinks to the bottom without disintegrating and they come out of hiding like eager puppies to snarf up the pellets. They get this every day along with supplemental balanced flake food.
I really don't know how to rate this item. The pellets are small like pin heads and seem to be an incentive for pets to eat their regular food. I was hoping it would have been a treat for my cat actually. More needs to be explained about this item so the purchaser is clear about what the contents really are.
I’ve looked at many different products and this is one of very few that do not contain copper or copper sulfate. The various types I’ve tried, this is the only one the shrimps fight over. We have fed them shrimp king brand, and they seem to okay, but they love this stuff more. I highly recommend!
I bought these just to give my guys something new, but they LOVE them. My cory cats wait just to snag them up as soon as they hit bottom, my betta follows them too and grabs them.. I see my shrimp an my kuli loaches eating them all up. Good price too. The pieces are small so that's nice too.
My shrimp love this food! I drop a few pellets into their feeding dish and they all come running to feast. This food is also the ONLY “shrimp specific” food I could find that does not contain ANY copper ingredients, which if you keep shrimp you know is important because copper kills them!
My shrimp love this food and eat it as soon as I put it in there tank.
My little guys love this sinking food. They flock to the feeding dish as soon as I feed them in the morning. They will often fight over the pellets in their excitement. I feed this along with other foods for a balanced and variety in their diet. One container of this will last a long time. I currently have two crustacean tanks and have hardly made a dent in the amount of food in the container. This is a great food but make sure to feed this and other foods for a variety in the diet of your crustacean friends.
