By nakita on May 10, 2021

My bristlenose clown and rubberlip plecos actually began fighting over these wafers and I had to add more than normal they wouldn't leave them they loved these and the cobalts wafers would Definitely recommend both as its great to alternate to give them a healthy variety plus fresh veggies

The product was not what the video showed , the tablets were a lot smaller. The video showed a thicker tablet that sank and the fish nibble as they want. The tablet that this product is smaller , like a waffer. I have to break it into pieces.

    Must be tasty

Sinks right to the bottom. Pleco, Chinese algae eats and snails like to munch it right up.

    Sinking veggie rounds

    By on

Shrimp and nerite snail seem to enjoy them. I've had similar products before and my snail wouldn't touch them, but it goes right to these.

    Snails love them

    By on top1000Contributor

I needed to supplement food for the snails as I put an algae killer in the tank and the food supply was running low. Snails found these immediately. Water remained crystal clear after using these, though I do have a UV light filter in the tank, so that might have had something to do with the tank remaining clear.

    Love ,love, love these pellets

    By on

At this time my 125 gallon saltwater tank has no fish it is only Corals, snails tons of serpent starfish Etc. I live in Florida and I am waiting for the hurricane season to be over before restocking with fish. In the meantime the list that I just mentioned devours these pellets. My only negative comment is that I must crush them. I use a meat mallet to break them in smaller parts but other than that I am very very happy with the product.

    Expensive, but worth it

    By on

This is literally the only food I buy for my plecos (though I also supplement with fresh vegetables). I compared all the ingredients of all the pleco wafers out there across sites, and this was the only one that had kelp/seaweed as its first ingredients, followed by shrimp (I believe) anyway, as opposed to fillers as the primary ingredient. It doesn't cloud the water and since I had an explosion of baby snails >_< I think these are just really nutritious to support the growth of all the living creatures in the tank. (Anyone want any snails, btw?)

    Omega One Veggie Rounds

I would highly recommend anything from Omega One. Never any filler ingredients! Always exactly what it says it is! I don't buy anything else for my fish.

    Hit and miss

    By on

I like Omega One foods generally (so do my fish Tetras, Rasboras, Loaches) the problem with these is that they often don't sink for quite some time so, dropping one in front of where my Snowflake pleco hangs out, is often a struggle. The Cory's and greedy Emperor Tetras also like these and for some reason, one of my cats (not a fish) decided she had to have them after I made the mistake of leaving the jar open ona counter...Duly noted.

Good Quality - Not just for fish!

    By on

I have a HUGE Pleco (approx 15") who I buy these for because the ingredients seem higher quality than other brands. Honestly I never see him eat but he isn't dead yet so I guess he likes them. Unfortunately the cats really LOVE these things and knocked a brand new container off the fish tank and consumed 3/4 of it. I will be buying again and hiding from the cats <sigh>.
