Honestly didn't realize this was a floating food but that just adds more variety for my African cichlids. Mixing this with Omega One sinking pellets means the food gets more spread out so everyone gets a chance to eat. The ingredient list is great and the protein content isn't too high, just what I like Honestly didn't realize this was a floating food but that just adds more variety for my African cichlids. Read All 4 Critical ReviewsDO NOT FLOAT!

They do not float! They stink right to the bottom very quickly. My cichlids do not like to forage for their food through the gravel. That’s my nitrates climb very quickly. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Not for Bolivian or German Blue Rams
By okiDokiLoki on Oct 15, 2019
I bought this thinking my rams would like this given there is a GBR on the container... All of them look for food on the bottom as that is their preferred level to hang out at and these float- till they mold! I do not recommend this for dwarf cichlids that like hanging out towards the lower levels of the tank. One star additional given for the high quality of ingredients and being Omega One.

I have never ordered anything I want pleased with. But I like chewy because you get you order fast most often the next day. I love not going to the over priced pet a supply

Too big for my Red Parrot Fish
By Lynn on May 13, 2019
I purchased these for my Red Parrot Cichlids but they are too big...they hold them in their mouth and then spit them out...wish they were a little smaller.

Spoiled Cichlids
By 12197 on Mar 7, 2018
After trying the Omega One Small Pellets on my cichlids, they prefer Tetramin Flakes. They leave the pellets floating at the top of the water, maybe waiting for them to soften, then they will try to eat them but spit them out whole, maybe too hard. I think because they are not eating them, my water is more cloudy than usual.

Excellent food
By Melissa82 on Nov 15, 2017
Everyone who keeps fish should know that omega one is by far one of the best brands. This is an excellent food with high quality ingredients and my kribensis cichlid loves it. I highly recommend this product.
