Too short imo
Just buy the taller size. The cats have more options for scratching a longer scratching post so it’s more versatile. We have the tall one and it was a hit, so I bought this one when it was on sale. I don’t think they’ve touched it in a year. I’ve tried various places around the house too.
Waste of money
This is just junk. The base came broken, and the post doesn’t even fit on the base. It just falls over. Two staples have fallen out already and I’ve had it five minutes.
Scratcher for Kenny
I bought this for my cat but unfortunately he just glanced at it and continues to play with chewy boxes or plastic bags! He showed no interest.
Cheap and broke
Broke immediately. It wouldn't go together easily and my cats took it apart faster than I put it together.
My cats hate this and cant scratch it vertically period. My cats refuse to use it. Waste of money
My kitten will not use this, because it is not tall enough.
Cats love it
The minute we set it up at the corner of our bed, one of our cats started scratching on it. It’s terrific, and fits well against the corner.
Cat won't use it
My cat rubs his face on it. I put this in front of an ottoman that he has shredded. Stopped further damage to the ottoman, but he has not used a paw on this.
Scratchpad, not Scratchpost
This will not stay upright--both cats use it occasionally as a scratchpad, but I was hoping for something that would stay upright.
not worth buying
This was smaller than I thought it would be & when a kitten starts to scratch the post falls over
