Cats seem to be okay with this

    By Nativegirl49 on Jun 9, 2019

I bought 2 of the large boxes for my 6 kitties, one box is a bit smaller than the other. Assembly was fairly easy, emptying the box is as described. Only issues: while the box is quite large, the actual area the cat occupies is quite small so my cats don't even attempt to cover their droppings and I bought 2 of the large boxes for my 6 kitties, one box is a bit smaller than the other. Assembly was fairly easy, emptying the box is as described. Only issues: while the box is quite large, the actual area the cat occupies is quite small so my cats don't even attempt to cover their droppings and my largest (16 lb) cat backs out instead of turning around. It took several atrempts to find just the right amount of litter to use. The box is a little awkward for a 70 yr. old woman to empty...a handle or grip on the end where the litter is would make flipping the box much easier. … more

It does what it says BUT improvement is a must

By Mark on Jun 2, 2019

Admittedly, I was pleasantly surprised that this litter box worked as it says it does. It really is a great idea. The reasons that I've given the product 3 stars & will gladly change if they're addressed are: - A higher quality plastic needs to be used, or a material that has better rigidity & reinforcement Admittedly, I was pleasantly surprised that this litter box worked as it says it does. It really is a great idea. The reasons that I've given the product 3 stars & will gladly change if they're addressed are: - A higher quality plastic needs to be used, or a material that has better rigidity & reinforcement - The measurements between the top & bottom pieces do not fully align, a stronger material may help eradicate this issue. - The screen that's placed inside to separate the clumps/stool needs to have smaller slots. They're currently too large & allow the smaller clumps/feces to get through with the clean litter making it so you have to go in with a scooper to remove them. This is counterproductive & undermines the whole idea behind the design - The removable "scooper/catcher" needs some kind of tracks that it can fit into. The way that it is now lets it shift & move around as the box is rolled. It creates large gaps that allows clumps & feces to get caught underneath it & creates a mess when you pull it out by the handle. Maybe some tracks made in the plastic to provide enforcement so it can't shift or move when rolling the box? - Lastly, the side in which needs to be grasped in order to roll the box over needs to have some kind of handle or a larger lip to be able to actually grab ahold of. The litter can become really heavy & trying to get the tips of my fingers underneath the small lip currently provided on the one side is uncomfortable & even painful as I start rolling it over. If these issues are addressed & corrected, I'd buy a couple more & wouldn't use any other litter box. I would still recommend it in its current state but it would be with a few disclaimers. … more
