Does the kibble fall straight out? What’s the challenge to getting the kibble out?
Answer by ChewyJun 09, 2018
As your dog plays with the Tricky Treat ball, it will dispense treats keeping your dog focused and entertained.

What size should I get for a corgi
Answer by ChewyAug 01, 2019
As a general guideline, the Small is suitable for pets weighing up to 30 pounds, the Medium for pets between 30-65 pounds and the Large for pets more than 65 pounds. If your pet is an avid chewer, it may be appropriate to size up.

How small is the small?
Answer by ChewySep 01, 2020
The Small ball is 2.8 inches in diameter, the Medium ball is 3.5 inches in diameter and the Large ball is 5 inches in diameter.

Is the material it's made of tested as safe for oral contact? Is it food grade plastic?
Answer by ChewyJun 13, 2018
This toy is not intended to be eaten. It's recommended to supervise your pups to prevent accidental swallowing of parts. All toys should be inspected periodically to ensure that parts have not been chewed loose. We suggest not allowing your pup to play with toy if it's broken or damaged in any way.

Great Toy for a Blind Dog

Our blind Cairn Terrier loves this treat ball. It keeps her occupied for a long time even after all the treats have come out. She rolls it all over the kitchen floor and will stop and then retrace all her steps to find treats she may have missed. I find the Milk Bone Trail Mix treats are just the right size for the small size ball, and I am able to use the small bone shape treat and place it horizontally across the opening. I agree it is a bit hard to clean. I just clean it with a soapy brush upside down so water doesn’t collect in the opening. I have several of these balls, so if I have to clean the inside I can use another while it dries.

Perfect Enrichment Toy

I've used many treat balls over the years, but this one is the best. It has a little tunnel to put treats in and it goes down far enough that treats don't fall out just by setting it down. My shiba has to work at getting the treats, but she gets some often enough that it can hold onto her puppy attention span. I got it after a dog trainer recommended it to me.

Great idea, but did not work

I usually love these type of puzzle balls to stimulate my smart, experienced puzzle dogs, but this one was too hard for them. In order to get the food out, you have to shake the ball up and down (in your hands!), something they just could not get. Sadly, I will not give this to them again as I was the only one to figure out how to get the food out. The problem is a 1 inch tube blocking the hole, so food can't roll into the opening, instead, you have to bounce it up and into the tube. Perhaps if the tube was smaller, or my dogs bounced it repeatedly instead of rolling it. Well, at any rate, This is definitely an advanced puzzle ball and too hard for us.

Okay Replacement Ball

I was really hoping this would be the perfect replacement for my dogs old Milk Bone red think rubbered/silicone treat dispensing ball.... but I had to cut some holes in it so that the big treat would fit/come out once she chewed it down. After I cut holes it worked great!

dog is a super heavy chewer

My foster dog had the toy for less than a half hour and has holes in it. We thought it would be good since he eats fast and is overweight to get him moving but he destroyed it. It’s a waist of money.

highly recommend

This treat ball is the best we’ve found. It’s super durable and keeps our 85 lb. puppy engaged and active. With 3 XL dogs, this toy has proven super durable. Works with a variety of food and treats. Holds a good amount of food. Large enough that it doesn’t roll under furniture. Highly recommend, would buy again in a heartbeat.

Not so noisy

So many balls that dispense treats are hard rubber or plastic and very noisy as my pup rolls them across a hard floor. This ball is softer and she can chew and play with it without the noise!! She loves just carrying it around without any treats in it!! Really durable! She loves it

Design flaw

This treat toy is tricky alright. At the treat entry point, the plastic lip is turned inside the ball , creating a big flap on the inside. If any treats come out it is totally by chance. The treats get stuck behind the flap, won't come out, and become disgusting and moldy. If you are looking for a treat dispenser, this isn't it - just buy a ball.

Treat ball

This is the best treat ball. My lab, Lily is always rolling it with her nose around the room or carrying it around. It is easy to grip and it keeps her busy for quite awhile
