Fun for days
By Dorie on Jan 15, 2021
My lab mix loves this toy. Her regular, hard kibble works best as softer treats don't tumble well. It took her a day to figure it out, but now she loves it. The large size keeps it from going under most furniture, but the dimples allow her to easily pick it up when it accidentally gets kicked down the stairs or when she needs to bring it to me for a little extra help. Previously I'd give her kibbles in a large juice bottle, but that became too easy for her. This design is just tough enough to keep her entertained without preventing me from shaking out the final kibbles in order to wash it occasionally. Glad I got an extra one for her friend!

Great entertainment!
By Elsie on Jan 18, 2021
Seriously serious chewer. He’s a 7 yo German shepherd who has been gnawing on this (treat filled) ball since Christmas. I see others said their dogs destroyed it quickly but so far it’s in good condition. I fill it with tiny treats and he is happily occupied for an hour or so. It might help build practical intelligence - he’s already learned to fling it up in the air for a good bounce to hopefully get a treat. He also rolls it with his paws. Intermittent rewards tend to cause persistent behavior.

Keeps them busy!
By lynnster87 on Dec 29, 2020
For all the one start ratings that let their dog destroy the toy, this is not a chew toy, it is a treat dispenser. If you fill it up with treats and send the dog on their way of course they are going to shred this! You need to show your dog that it dispenses treats. I use this for my 2 heavy chewer labs, during meal time to slow them down. They roll the ball along the floor or pick it up and flip it and gobble up the kibble. I take the toy away when they are done, I do not give them the opportunity to start chewing on the toy, this also helps to keep the toy interesting by not letting them have it all of the time.

Not Good For Smart Dogs Who Are Strong Chewers
By Bella on Dec 27, 2020
First off, this thing smells good enough to eat! I wanted to chew on it myself! It's like a vanilla frosting coconut scent...delicious! Apparently my dog thought so too because instead of rolling it around to get the treats out she chewed a hole in it within the first 10 minutes of having it and poof, treats were gone. Not worth the money. Don't waste your time buying this if your dog is smart and is a chewer.

Treats don’t fall out easily
By Wienie on Jan 14, 2021
My dog barely played with this cause the treats just won’t fall out, no matter what she did. I couldn’t get them out either. Took a long time but I did get the treats out. I’ve tried various sizes of treats and the hole/tunnel is just too deep within the ball to allow treats to filter out.

Nothing great
By warped67 on Jan 17, 2021
The package said something like hours of fun...try more like 3 minutes. My dog hardly touches it even with treats inside. And when you first roll it with treats in it unless they are the perfect shape or size they mostly fall out. Not really worth the money.

Awesome slow feeder!
By Mary on Dec 28, 2020
Our pups absolutely love this ball. It’s an excellent way to provide some mealtime enrichment while preventing them from eating too quickly. I also love the material - some of the other feeder balls we have are a hard plastic and make very loud noises on our wood floors. It’s also done exceptionally well on the top rack of our dishwasher.

I think mine is broken?
By Melody on Dec 5, 2020
I got the larger-sized ball for my mini because her kibble is weirdly shaped and I thought she'd have fun with the larger ball. I had the smaller one once upon a time that was great (and I will probably buy again). But this one is . . . broken? Where are the inner flaps that keep the food from just pouring out? Judging by the rough edges inside the ball, it looks like they were cut out. I hope the smaller ones aren't screwed up like this. My girl loves these toys. :(

Love it! Stops the destruction!
By Sableshepherd on Dec 3, 2020
My puppy is 6 months old and worse than a shark on anything in the backyard, despite training and exercise! This toy keeps her busy while I sip my coffee and prepare for another day of puppyhood with her. She LOVES it and my older dog does too. Regular food and a few treats seem to do the trick and I can put a bunch in there easily. Highly recommend!

Best treat ball
By LovemyDog on Dec 1, 2020
I've tried many treat balls and this is the best. I give it to my dog every day when I leave for work, and at other times just for fun. My previous dog spun it expertly with her paw in circles to get every last piece of kibble one at a time, and my current dog uses his nose a bit fumbly and picks it up and carries it with his mouth to bring it back to the center of the room. Either way, they focus on it so they don't worry about me leaving, and it takes quite a while to get around 20 treats.
