Can I use this on my 3 1/2 lb Yorkie? Or is there something else you would recommend?

The minimum safe weight is 5 pounds. Since this is a medication and it is dosed by the weight of the pet, it is very important to be at that specific weight.
Can I give my dog a bath after using this?

Your dog needs to be dry at the time of application and remain dry for 24 hours after application.

No luck with this product

We have been using Seresto collars for a few years now and have not had any issues with fleas or ticks. After reading about so many issues with the Seresto collars we decided to toss them and decided to try Onguard. We purchased it near the end of October. We applied Onguard in November and December. We still ended up with fleas and they spread to our indoor only cats. Last night I woke up to a fat tick crawling on my arm. Upon further inspection of my dog, he had a tick under his ear flap. I am currently researching different topicals that will work with fleas and ticks. We can't use K9 Advantix because the cats will groom the dog and it's toxic to cats so I am not sure what we are going to try.

did not work

I used this on my pets for quite a few months and still fought with fleas. I just switched back to Frontline plus and within 24 hours my pets are soooo much less itchy. I feel guilty that they suffered with fleas for so long when I could have just spent the extra money for something that worked. Was hoping this would work considering that it’s more affordable. But you get what you pay for I suppose

Unfortunately this product did not work 😕

I was highly recommended Onguard plus for my 2 dogs and cat. I'm low income and times are hard 😪 I purchased 1pk 5-22lbs & 1pk 45-88lbs for dogs. Plus, 1pk for my cat. Over $75.00 dollars worth of tick and flea prevention. A lot of money for something that doesn't work. It's only been 3 weeks and I had to give my dogs 3 baths, each time I saw live fleas jumping around in the bathtub. The sad thing is that you have to wait 30 days before reapplying. That's a long time for a pet that's miserable & itching 24/7. It would be a fair statement to say this product does not work : (

Doesn't work.

Bought two different kinds the 5 to 22 as well as the up to 60 lb because I have two very different dogs. Not even a week after application no fleas are dead and they are still crawling over him. I thought maybe they had finally figured out a way for flea meds not to be so expensive but that is not the case. Do not waste your money. I know the weights were correct and I know I applied it correctly so fall to the product.

Onguard plus flea and tick treatment

I have used this on both dogs for over a year and so far have had no problems with it. I purchased the six pack. I was hesitant because it is so affordable compared to the brand I was using but have no complaints . I am Very thankful it is so affordable since I am in a fixed income. I would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Not a fan didn’t see any results

I used this product on my 12lb Min pin and we did not see any results. We have never had a flea issue, maybe a flea here or there, but this season has been intense. We’ve treated the yard and all pets but this did not seem to do anything. Just my opinion. I followed the instructions just putting that out there.

Works well

My dog (shihtzu) got fleas from my sisters house. He was scratching. Red. Uncomfortable. I treated him with this product and within 24 hours he was good again. The redness on his skin went away and his scratching kept decreasing as the days went on.

Easy Application

Loved this fleas and tick spot treatment. Usually there is way too much product which just runs all over my dogs coat. Thank goodness they figured out a little goes a long way.

Doesn't work

My dogs were treated for 2 months with Onguard and the fleas had diminished. When I took them to the groomer they showed me pictures of bloody bath water. Flea infestation is so hard to overcome don't waist your time or money.

Good Stuff

I usually use frontline for my 2 small dogs but I feel the doses have not been as potent in recent years. Tried this from Chewy and way cheaper and just as good, if not better. I recommend. Coming back to buy some more!
