Great for "rewetting" wet food
By Stephanie on Mar 17, 2021
All 3 cats seem willing to imbibe, and my "broth is everything" cat is a big fan. He licks the liquid of the pate faster than I can say "stop eating your brothers' food!", so it's helpful to be able to re-wet the wet food that he licks dry, ensuring all 3 cats get an adequate amount of moisture. And then it spoils my old boy with double moisture, so a win all around. The package was a bit difficult to pour from and keep from spilling when not pouring, so I transferred it to a mason jar.

Great on dry food
By Cobra on Apr 2, 2021
I generally use this to wet the dry dog food I buy and my dog loves the treat. I started adding a small amount to plain water to get my dog to drink water after he eats. And it works! He is not good about drinking water. I dump out what he does not finish since I don't think it would be good to leave in a water bowl. It does help encourage him to drink water.

She only drank some of it once then wouldn't touch it again
By Wolfe on Mar 3, 2021
Mommy (our cat's name) was needing to get more liquids into her diet to stave off kidney issues, so we ordered this broth. The first serving she seemed to like it, & we thought awesome, this will help a lot. After that, she wouldn't touch the broth whatsoever. Neither would the other 2 cats, so we are out the cost of this item. We don't want to give it a low rating because maybe our cats are just being finicky, but this was a dud for us. We were really hopeful this would've been 5 stars because the product seemed like it would've been perfect for our situation. Alas, no. Sorry.

My Cat Hates This
By Baabaa on Mar 12, 2021
I bought this for my kitty and he will not eat anything that has this product on it whether it be wet or dry food. I was really hopeful he would like it but he wants nothing to do with it. The ingredients included cranberries, apples, carrots, etc. which my kitty would not like any of that. Wish I had paid better attention before purchasing.

Helped my old cat
By SF426 on Mar 21, 2021
Our elderly cat had to move to a low protein diet due to his kidneys. To help him stay hydrated and also cut back on food waste, since he wasn't always finishing his food before it would dry up, we got this to top his food. He likes the taste a lot and it has helped us cut back on food waste

It's a Miracle!
By Daisy123 on Jan 21, 2021
My little Lucy typically turns her nose up to dog food - even canned, expensive dog food. She's been like that since day one. She'll eat her dog food only when she is extremely hungry at the end of the day. Some people may say I'm being ridiculous, but I hate to see her eat food that she obviously doesn't enjoy and is only eating because she has to. I mean, nobody wants to have to eat bland food everyday, so why do that to my beloved dog? Although Lucy is healthy and is thriving, it broke my heart to see the look on her face when I set her bowl of food down. "This again?," the look on her face seemed to say. I knew that I had to find a solution! I came across this bone broth and chose it because My little Lucy typically turns her nose up to dog food - even canned, expensive dog food. When the pachage arrived, I immediately mixed this broth in with her dog food and low and behold, she enjoyed her food! She even licked the bowl clean! This is the first time I've seen her enjoy her dog food. … more

Good for picky eaters
By Zoey on Feb 1, 2021 top1000Contributor
My aging Shih Tzu have gained weight and so my Vet changed her dry food to a prescription low fat kibbles. She won't eat them unless she is super hungry. I tried this and now she eats her kibbles right away. If you try this, be aware of the calories you are adding to the food. For my Shih Tzu, she eats 1/3 cup dry kibbles 3 times a day and I add 1/3 teaspoon each time of this broth. I stir it as much as I could. It barely wets the dry food but enough for him to taste it. Also, once the container is open, it is only good for up to 7 days. I froze half of them while I have the other half in one of those FoodSaver canisters in my fridge, with the hope that it will last longer.

Even the bottomless pit cat wouldn't touch it
By Andrea on Mar 18, 2021
I thought this would be a nutrient-rich option to add to wet cat food instead of water, but neither cats will touch their food if I have added this. One of the cats will eat nearly everything, so that was a surprise! Too bad, and too costly for what it is.

It’s a winner!
By MausMom on Jan 31, 2021
My kitty LOVES this Bone Broth! He became dehydrated after a brief illnesses. I didn’t realize he hadn’t been drinking enough water. The Vet suggested putting water in his wet food. It didn’t look good & kitty wasn’t impressed either. I did some research because all the human broth had sodium in it. Then I found this. He really loves it. I’m not worried about his becoming dehydrated again. Great product...and cat approved!

Soothing for my sick pups
By Gracy on Jan 31, 2021
My dogs both got colds or possibly bad allergies at the same time and were lethargic for a couple of weeks. Like humans, they needed lots of rest and liquids and this chicken bone broth was the perfect remedy and treat. I gave it to them warmed several times a day and they loved it every time. Made me feel better too! WIll keep using it as a healthy treat. A little expensive, but unless you make bone broth yourself, you're not going to find a for-human equivalent without spices like onion and garlic.
