Each ounce of MaxMeat is equal to 3-oz of fresh meat. When mixing with other foods reduce the amount of MaxMeat accordingly to avoid overfeeding. Be careful not to overfeed. Can be mixed with dry food or rice/potato if an all-meat diet is too rich for animals with sensitive systems.
1 scoop is equivalent to 1/4 cup or 1.5-oz
Transitioning your pet to a new food is easy. Simply start by mixing 25% of the new Only Natural Pet food with 75% of your current food and gradually increase over 10 days. Some pets may transition more quickly while those with sensitive stomachs may require a more gradual change. If you notice loose stool or an upset stomach, this is a sign to make the transition more gradual.

Great Meal Topper

I love topping off my dog's bowl with these. I wish this brand made more variety like Ziwi. In comparison to Ziwi, the price point on this is much more affordable (although I think the price has increased by a few $ since I last purchased, but still cheaper than Ziwi). I think it is because there is less protein. While Ziwi is 96% protein, this is around 90%. I'm assuming because of the added pumpkin and parsley, which I think is actually a great addition. I actually prefer this because the addition of pumpkin is great for my dog's digestive tract and she normally does not eat pumpkin if I try to directly feed to her. This way, she thinks she's getting chicken, but is getting some pumpkin in I love topping off my dog's bowl with these. I wish this brand made more variety like Ziwi. My very picky eater has been cleaning her bowl on her own...normally I have to hand feed her Ziwi brand & usually take her 2 days to eat 1 cup. Keeping my fingers crossed they will be back in stock.

My kids came from North Carolina with their dog to visit. We all have shihtzu. They are very picky eaters. I introduced them to air dried chicken with pumpkin recipe. Dog was here 2 walks, and ate 2 bags of this. She couldn’t get enough. Before they left, I called chewy and ordered 2 more bags so they could take some home for her. They are a dependable Co. and their products are natural. I am very careful of our dogs diets. Who doesn’t want a healthy dog?? I do!

I have been exhausted with reading dog food ingredients labels, pet food sites, AAPO, and found out there are a lot of expensive garbage out there, pet foods that are Veterans’ recommended that caused my pet ear infection, allergies and sneezing, itchy paws. I felt bamboozelled into buying expensive stuff that my picky eater would not go close to but after coming across this brand that’s made with human-grade ingredients it’s the BEST for my pet, she licked my fingers and begged for more....for the size it’s extremely reasonable in price.

I can’t say our very picky eater will eat this every time it’s offered but some days he takes it as a treat. It smells great, I’m tempted to try it, lol. Not sure if we will buy it again but would if you have a normal eater.

Since day one our pup (who had trauma before adoption) has been horrible to feed, very picky, not really interested in food (even human food!) and was so skinny it was painful to look at her. She would nibble at Ziwi so we always left that in her bowl then one day she wouldn’t eat it anymore. Out of desperation I bought every possible food on chewy and this was the magic food. She gets super excited at meal times now, and is finally putting on weight! We sprinkle the freeze dried nibs on it too and she dances around like it’s the best day of her life. Fingers crossed she keeps on loving it!

I have a very fussy 10 lb. older Toy Fox Terrier. She won’t eat any very expensive foods, Blue Buffalo, Adirondack, and any wet dog food, vet recommended food, only to throw it away. I have spent ridiculous money for her. She’s even very fussy eating steak left overs. But she really likes Only Natural Chicken with pumpkin! I recommend trying this food.

My dogs love this. They prefer the Lamb and cod but this is their second choice. I feel very comfortable with the ingredients and this company. I think the price is fair. I hope they continue making it since it seems as soon as I find something that we all agree on it is discontinued like NRG
