We have a picky Samoyed and she loved this food and would eat it every night when we ate dinner:). But I’ve noticed the last few bags have changed like some of the other reviews. More kibble and the freeze dried bits are smaller or just kind of shredded in the bag. Not great. She doesn’t eat it like she used to and since Chewy is always out of it I’m looking for an alternative if anyone has any suggestions besides Blue Buffalo I’ll take them. Thank you.

We have a giant breed who is a very fussy eater. He does seem to like this kibble.

I've been buying this brand of dog food for almost a year and am very happy with this particular product. We started off using the stews but the pups would waffle on whether they liked them or not. So, I decided to just use the kibble format and they have been consistently eating this. Honestly, I was cooking for them for a couple of months but that was time consuming so I came back to making this the bulk of their diet. I also get pet feed from our local food co-op/farmer. I make that in a crockpot along with brown rice and some added veggies. I keep that in the fridge and use as a topper to this with about a quarter cup added to 1/2 cup of Only Natural. They LOVE meal times and I feel like I've been buying this brand of dog food for almost a year and am very happy with this particular product. We came back from their vet visits last week and they both passed with flying colors. Beagles tend to put on weight easily and the senior lost 3 pounds since last vet visit. The vet said the 2 year old was in perfect shape and to keep doing whatever it is that we are doing. This makes me feel validated because keeping weight off of a beagle is like an act of God. … more

My dog was on a well-respected, very expensive dog food but we decided to try this out because of some discounts. He does just as well on this, if not better. We always get compliments on his coat, which is shiny and soft without using supplements. We’ve had a few bags so far and the quality has been consistent. I appreciate that it has fewer calories per cup since he’s a very “efficient” breed. I can give him a bigger meal while keeping excess weight off of him.

This used to be great. I would’ve rated it a 5, however, the last couple of bags ordered are not the same, the formula has changed. It is very noticeably much more kibble than dry freeze dried. My dog is less interested in it and I now have to mix it in order for him to eat. Hopefully, they go back to the same formula, as he has been eating it for over a year.

This food has turned our picky senior, Warick, into a happy boy that loves his meals again. Thank you!

I have tried most of Only Natural Pet dog food (appropriate for my dogs size) and my girls love them all.

My dog is a super picky eater and likes to “peck” at her food, but despite that she seems to eat this much more often/in greater amounts than other brands. The freeze dried bits are her favorite and she’ll actually fish those out of her bowl first. Bonus for me, the bag is resealable! I live in a very woody forest-like area and bugs (especially ants) are a huge problem, so not only do I have the satisfaction of not needing to worry if my dog’s food is going to go stale before she eats it all, I can easily keep out any pests scavenging for an easy meal. My 2 samoyeds love this food, it also has probiotics in it which is great.
