Mona gets a dose on her food once a day and Pet Botanics Omega treats after the other. It’s about 10 days in now and she is shedding and finally showing a difference in her behavior. She has old injuries from before we got her and she’s finally starting to act like they’re bothering her during the day Mona gets a dose on her food once a day and Pet Botanics Omega treats after the other. It smelled a lot and cats would not go any where near their food with this product in it. I would not recommend it.

    Good Product

    By on

This is a pretty good product. Definitely works. Both my cats dislike the taste though. The older cat will eat it if it’s mixed in with his soft food, the younger cat will NOT eat his food if it’s mixed in, but they are both very picky eaters. The cat that does eat it definitely looks healthier. His dandruff has cleared up and his coat is much shinier and softer. I would recommend this if your pet has dandruff or a generally unhealthy looking coat. It stinks somethin terrible though!

Dog loves it, skin is getting better

    By on

Our chocolate lab has been on this since he developed dandruff on his hackles area in the winter months. Vet said it was not allergies but that the central heat dries out the humidity too much for him. I did some research and saw a lot of people tried adding things like raw egg, salmon oil, coconut oil, etc to lab food. So I figured I would rather try this method first instead of fancy expensive shampoos. After all you are not supposed to wash dogs that often. (He gets a bath every 6-8 months to deal with coat blow out.) Summer he plays in sprinkler. :) After about 2-3 weeks we did notice a lot of improvement in his dandruff.

    Great product

Bought this for my cat who is having major skin issues. Product is very smelly, it IS a fish product after all. My cat loves it, licks the oil right off his plate without having to mix into his food. He feels softer and seems less itchy. Overall he seems more comfortable after only a few days of use.

    Excellent wild salmon oil

    By on

I've been giving wild Alaskan salmon oil to my dog regularly for years, it really helps the quality of her coat and general health. I recently chose this brand to try for the first time. It smells and looks fresher than the other kinds I've used. I had tried giving the previous brand I had to my kitty, who is really picky, and he wouldn't touch it, but with this one he licks it right up out of the bowl! So I take that as proof that it's fresh and good:)

    Minor dry skin issues. Cured.

    By on

This helped my husky recover from dry skin. Before he was scratching and chewing a significant amount to cause redness and irritation. After about 2 weeks, he was back to normal. Great price, minimal ingredients. Very satisfied, added to autoship.

    Nope - it reeks!

    By on

Disappointed in this. One of my dogs walks away from her food when I gave it to her. It does smell, very much. I bought it because some of the reviews said it doesn't smell at all. The hole is the top is also very big and the liquid shoots out and ends up being too much.....$20.00 down the drain.
