Wipes aren’t wet enough

I tried these wipes because a previous eye wipes brand was discontinued. I have to grab a wad of these wipes just for one eye because not wet enough. I saw a review that it caused a chemical burn so not sure if it’s a coincidence but my Maltese developed raw spots by his eyes where I wiped shortly after. I took him to vet and suddenly he had conjunctivitis and can’t imagine how. I keep everything clean and wash his belongings often. Again not sure if coincidence but I switched to these wipes then he had eye issues.

Wipes aren't wet enough...

My senior chi's eye boogers are getting out of control and crust up when dry. These wipes have a minimal scent and are indeed gentle but the wipes are so dry! I wish the package came with more solution in it so I don't have to scrub his face with the wipes, which he hates. I wouldn't buy again and may try a spray next time and apply that onto a cotton ball instead.

Looked like a chemical burn!

I used one of these wipes for the first time the other morning and that evening I noticed a red area on his face. Upon closer examination I saw 2 good size raw, oozing open areas in the skin fold on his face where I had gently applied the wipe earlier in the day. I love the optixcare plus eye gel, but I will never use the cleansing wipes again. After a few days of applying an antibiotic ointment to the area it is almost healed. It may work fine for some dogs, but not for mine.

Optixcare Adequate

The wipes are easy to use and effective in removing eye gunk. My only minor concern is that the self sealing plastic lip doesn't stick and the wipes are prone to drying out. I resolved it by placing a strip of clear shipping tape to reinforce.

Handy wipes

These wipes work really well, we have a cockapoo. Which eyes need cleaning, I've tried many products but this is most convenient and works well. The packaging need to change when use and keep closing tape on package it gets less sticky which starts to dry wipes out

Dog eye wipes

These wipes are great, they smell good which helps my frenchie to not be afraid of them. They take care of his tear stains and I use them to clean is little face wrinkles. I'll definitely use them again.

Great Product

Works great

Cleaned our cat’s tear stained eyes well and no sign of irritation.
