Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.
OraVet Dental Hygiene Chews for Dogs deliver an alternative way to clean your furry friend’s mouth. As your buddy sinks his teeth into these chews, the natural scrubbing action will help fight plaque and tartar buildup. These chews also contain delmopinol, an ingredient found in human oral care rinse, which helps coat the teeth, creating a barrier against bacteria that cause plaque, tartar and bad breath. Keeping up with your pup’s oral hygiene is an im-paw-tant part of his overall health and using these vet-recommended chews along with going to regular vet dental checkups is the way to go! These chews are designed for dogs who weigh over 50 pounds.

My dog really likes OraVet Chews. Is it safe to give more than 1 per day?
We do not recommend giving your dog more than 1 OraVet Chew per day.
How long will it take my dog to finish a daily OraVet Chew?
Each dog chews at a different pace, so each OraVet Chew will last for a different amount of time.
Can unfinished OraVet Chews be saved for later use?
No. If left out, OraVet Chews can harden. So if your dog doesn't finish eating one, it should be thrown out.
How do I know what size OraVet Chews are right for my dog?
Dogs come in different sizes. And so do OraVet Chews. There are 4 sizes in all, for dogs 3.5 - 9 lbs, 10 - 24 lbs, 25 - 50 lbs, and over 51 lbs. Ask your vet for help if you're not sure how much your dog weighs.
Why is it important to have my dog’s teeth cleaned regularly?
Like people, dogs need regular dental cleaning to remove the plaque and tartar buildup that can cause bad breath and gum disease.
I feed my dog dental diet or dental chews already. How are OraVet Chews different?
OraVet Chews have a unique dual - action mechanism that prevents bacterial attachment — reducing halitosis (bad breath) at the source. The action of chewing works to loosen and dislodge plaque to help it break away from teeth. Then, the extra ingredient, delmopinol, works by disrupting the plaque matrix and forms a barrier, preventing new bacteria from adhering to the teeth.

My dogs love these
By BoandBellasmom on Jan 11, 2021
My 2 Great Pyrenees loooovvvee these! Just wish the ingredients were listed as 1 has gastrointestinal issues. Vet is concerned because there is not much nutritional information given in the listing and does not recommend. Most everything Chewy sells that is digestible provides better details of the ingrediens. Shouldn't have to ask.

Seems to work, but expensive
By 3cats on Dec 29, 2020
We’ve been giving these to our golden retriever for a while now. He absolutely loves them! We give him one every other evening, since they’re a bit expensive to give every day. His teeth are perfectly white, but he’s also only 1.5 years old, so we’ll see how it goes as he gets older. They have a really nice vanilla smell and seem to clean better and smell better than greenies.

Good Ingredients, Didn't work for my dog
By Jaime on Jan 5, 2021
Good ingredient list which is why I bought these. My dog tries to swallow them whole and I didn't think they really cleaned her teeth even when I held it for her to chew on the other end. Probably better than most dental treats I've tried though!

easy chew for the babies
By Teethclean on Dec 4, 2020
My vet recommended these and I usually buy a couple every once in a while at their office, but having this bag on hand makes it easier for me to give them one more often and it cleans their teeth very easily.

Chews or teeth
By DingleandBerry on Dec 30, 2020
Recommended by our vet for the dogs teeth. Our dogs like them. Each one is individually wrapped in plastic which is a bummer but may be necessary for the product. Maybe they could switch the outer bag to cardboard.

Really work
By Frederick on Nov 24, 2020
The Oravet stuff works. I don't see myself brushing the dogs' teeth, 'though I've tried. Not fun for anybody. These are good solution but pricey. Dogs get one after their last feeding, before bedtime. They look forward to their 9:30 pm teethies. The autumn time change was a prob tho. They start expecting promptly at 8:30. How?

These are great our vet gave us a huge box a couple of years ago we really like them I do not necessarily recommend them for giant breeds as they are a little too small for them.

Teeth cleaning

My vet recommended these 1 per day for my dogs teeth and she loves them. She does not chew on any rawhide as she almost choked on one. These help keep back teeth cleaned

Dental care

These are great if you don't have a dog that gulps the whole thing down. I have to hold piece to force him to chew on it. The product does it's job when chewed on.

Dogs love them!
By oravet on Dec 26, 2020
Love these treats. They help clean the teeth better than greenies and the dogs love them! They also don’t have a strong odor like greenies do.
