Satisfied with Experienice

Chewy made it easy for me to order, and the delivery was expedient! Size is for 10-24 lbs. and my dog is only 10 lbs so although recommended to give a whole one, I only give him a half of 1 (cut horizonally). Do they help his teeth, who knows? I brush his teeth every night after he eats w/organic coconut oil (he likes the taste, so doesn't fight me too much) and then he begs to get this dental treat. He loves these things! My dog's groomer said he had the whitest teeth of any dog she grooms. Good news so something must be working!

Good so far

Although it's too early to tell if these are helping to remove the plaque on my boy's teeth, they do seem to be helping make his breath fresher. And he loves them too, so 4 stars for that. Hoping they help remove the build up, as little man fights me on brushing his teeth. Fingers crossed. :)

No idea if it works

So, I can't tell if these actually help my dog's teeth or not. They definitely don't help with his breath. He does enjoy eating them, at least. But as far as I can tell, the only noticeable difference is that his poop is tinted green. Might work better if your dog starts with freshly cleaned teeth.

Perfect for dogs with few teeth!

My corgi/chihuahua mix was born without six of her teeth, and recently lost four more due to a slip and slide incident during fetch. These are soft enough that I don’t worry about her breaking another tooth, or about the scary reviews you see from other toothbrush treats tearing apart dog’s intestines! My vet also recommends them because they coat the teeth with a protective barrier. LOVE THEM.

Great treats, lousy packaging

Our vet recommended these and the pups love them. But the individual packages are very difficult to open and the plastic breaks off and sticks to your hand. Good product, lousy packaging.

Insanely loved by snuggle pup

I’m keeping a little mutt for a friend and this pup adores these treats as a reward for poop-d-doos. She flips and jumps and spins around and then runs off with it like it’s a once in a life time treasure.

please eat your treat

I was excited to give new dental treat to my dog and cut one in half. She loved it! I sealed second half in a sandwich bag. The next day she was not at all interested. I repeated this, and again, same result. I will try to give her a whole one today, but I am wondering if flavor changes once you open? Or is my dog just that finicky? After seeing positive reviews, I was hoping these chews would make Daisy's life even more perfect. I worry that I don't brush her teeth. I am not perfect!

My pup loves these

My vet recommended Oravet chews as I was concerned about putting her under to do a dental cleaning. She is a senior Boston Terrier. She loves these chews and asks me for them every night after dinner. Her teeth are looking better too.

Great product, but didn't like the taste.

I have a very food motivated Dacshund that will eat anything. She tried to eat this, but didn't like the taste. First time she left any type of food remnant remaining and walked away. Disappointing because I love the OraVet products and know that they are great for periodontal health.

2 vets recommended

Two vets, one in Fl and one in Wi, recommended these for Patrick's teeth to keep them clean. They do add weight as they are loaded with calories so you have to eliminate other treats or your dog will gain weight. Patrick loves these, he thinks of course that they are treats. I am happy with the results on his teeth.
