Absorbent!
Great water bowl mat - it’s super absorbent! My cat sometimes wrestles with her toys while I’m gone and knocks things over… once she knocked this water bowl over and I had been sure the flooring was going to be ruined but this mat ended up soaking up most of it!
Smelly
Unfortunately, while in my mind I knew that this was recycled rubber, I had pictured something a bit smoother, akin to silicone. Not only is it gritty feeling, but it feels of rubber so much that the cats won't go near the food bowls placed upon the mats.

This is just so cute and I am able to put my cats water and food bowl on it, no problem. I can still see the whiskers too. My cat is black also, so this is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a black cat and this was the perfect mat to place under his water fountain.
Exactly What I Wanted
I got a newer kitten (he's not very kitten like anymore) and he loves to push the water fountain around EVERYWHERE. I'm so glad I got this because it stops the fountain from being pushed all over the place, but also soak up the water that he kept dumping everywhere. Which made the floor filthy after a while, so glad to have gotten this mat so I can stop having to scrub the floor like Cinderella.

This item is just adorable. I have a black cat, had a black cat all my life, and in my opinion, they are just the best. I hate when people leave bad reviews because they made a mistake. Do people not read the descriptions and reviews on a product before purchasing it? And if they do not read the description and reviews on a product, is it the company's fault? I say no. The size measurements are clearly stated and multiple people have posted photos of the catmat so you can clearly see the size. I am done complaining about complainers now lol But yeah, super cute!

This smelled sooooo strong of rubber. Tried to air it out and still smelled. Ended up donating to a rescue anyway that was in need
