don't buy
I bought this mat for under their water bowl because my cats were dragging their bowl around the floor & spilling water everywhere. The description says non-sliding, not true, is actually worse than the one I had before. Not expensive, but still a waste of your money.
Works great, consider the color choice!
This does a great job of keeping water off my hardwood. If i could do it over again, I would've chosen a lighter color as the dark blue show spots and looks dirty quite quickly.
Pet Placemat
Great color, but wish it were larger to cover the entire double doggie bowl and stand and extended out a bit.
Helps to keep the mess low
I have two cats and they are a little messy with thecdry food. This Matt is non slip, you pick it up, folded in half and the crumbs are ready for the trash
Pretty Good Silicone Placemat
The size was MUCH smaller than I anticipated and the lip around the edges is very low so it won't hold much water if you have a messy pet like I do. Still, the quality is good and it fits in a smaller corner of the kitchen so overall I'm pleased with the purchase.
Not what I was looking for
Might work for others but this did nothing for me & my incredibly messy drinker. Pad isnt absorbant so water just collects and the edges dont have enough of a lip to keep water from sliding onto floor. Also the one I ordered was really small, maybe a larger one would've been better. Not worth the trouble of cleaning this mat AND the floor everyday
Very floppy, minimal lip
The size is decent, but the lip is so small it doesn’t do much to prevent water from escaping. Also this is very floppy silicone, so the water/food will fall right off when you pick up the mat. Not what I as looking for.
this mat is just the size I needed
I actually bought this mat to put under a humidifier that I bought. It's just the right size and has a small lip around it, to hold any water that might leak. I'm very pleased with this mat.
Works for me
My cat will move his bowl around and splash the water out. The mats we were using previously just let the water run off the edges and get under the mat, which was not good for the wood floor. These silicone mats were the solution we needed. The silicone material makes it harder to slide the bowl around. The raised edges generally help keep the water from running off the edges and for the times when he spills a lot of water, at least the mat prevents it from getting trapped underneath. They are also easy to clean and look nice and sleek.
Good sturdy mat
idk what to say... it's a silicone mat, not easy to mess it up. It was exactly as described and is doing a great job of keeping the water fountain off the carpet. 12/10 would recommend.
