Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 601 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by The very best!! I have 5 cats on the chicken formula. They LOVE it!! When I read some of the complaints about the price, I have to laugh! Of course it's higher priced, you are paying for the QUALITY!! You end up having healthier cats, that require less of this food, because it is formulated properly! If you eat healthier, you require less, which leads to less ihealth related issues! In my opinion, you spend about the same because this food does not cause all the issues that cheap food does! I also supplement with very high quality wet food. My cats drink plenty of water, and when I purchased a fountain for them, 4 years ago, they drink plenty! Do not pay attention to negative reviews about price or smell. I clean my litter boxes 2x a day, and i have no issues. I rescue, foster, and have a vet in my family, so I know everything I do for my precious kitties is top notch! The kitties, and the humans, reap the rewards of quality, loving care!! Thanks Chewy!! =) July 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by so far so good I have 2 cats and 1 was recently diagnosed with diabetes. The vet suggested I find a lower carb food. After weeks upon weeks of research, trial & error , money & time wasted on uneaten homemade & store bought food and pure mental exhaust. I gave up my quest to find the perfect wet food and decided to find the best dry food before my cat starved to death or had issues because I couldn't give him his insulin unless he ate. After more research I thought I would give this a try and Success!! both cats seem to really like this and they will even now accept my homemade pureed chicken breast and broth that I serve in a separate dish along side the Orijen and all dishes end up being empty. It's only been about a week, I will update as time passes. September 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by By far the best dry food on the market I was concerned trying out Orijen due to the price. I've tried other premium dry brands such as Wellness at local stores such as Petsmart and Petco where you have the option to return unused portions at the local store if your pet refuses to eat it (Chewy allots for returns as well, but personally I just hate the hassle of online returns). I've noticed certain premium dry foods are near odorless since they lack artificial flavoring which has actually been a drawback for my kittens who prefer pet foods that have a distinctly noticeable smell. Orijen has completely wholesome ingredients and also lacks any artificial flavoring, but it does have a recognizable "cat food" smell, which my kittens were immediately drawn to (again, unlike other premium dry foods which basically don't smell like anything). Considering the health benefits, the product is well worth the price. This will be a permanent addition to my cats diet. June 29, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by New formula is subpar I don't feed kibble anymore (it's not biologically appropriate) but when I did, or when i met someone who was dead set on feeding kibble, I was happy to recommend Orijen. Not anymore. The new formula is subpar with more veggies and fish and less real meat. Cats are obligate carnivores, and this stuff isn't even close to being biologically appropriate food. Throw the kibble away and buy some freeze dried for wet food for you cat, help them live a longer healthier life. September 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the Best for Kibble Orijen has an amazing product. I feed this as a supplement to a wet and raw diet. The ingredients are species appropriate and the product itself is excellent for a dry cat food. It's the only dry food I will even consider feeding my cats because it's not full of junk, the protein level is appropriate for cats, and it is easy on their tummies. September 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best cat dry food ever I strongly recommend the orijen cat food to every cat owner. If you love your cat like your baby, you should give her the best food in the world no matter how much it costs (I know it is also the most expensive cat food in the market, but it has a reason to be expensive). Orijen is the undoubtedly the best one. I have two cats, one is two years old and another is six and half years. They were both rescued from a shelter. The very first thing I noticed after feeding them orijen is that their fur became shiny and soft after one or two weeks, and they changed from lazy/silent to energetic/playful. My six-year-old Precious has stomach problems. She vomit almost every day, spitting out most of what she ate. She was only 7 lbs when she came into my place. But orijen saved her, it slowly improved her vomit condition and she is gaining weight and energy! She is 9.2 lbs after two months. I am very thankful to orijen!! I have also tried other dry food, like wellness core, EVO. They are good food, too. My cats like orijen more so I'm gonna stick to orijen. July 3, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by So so I want to give my cat a high quality food, which orijen seems good. But my cat like his blue buffalo better, I think he just not get used to the new food yet. September 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by My Cats Love it, But it SMELLS!! We are halfway through our first bag off this food and my cats cannot get enough if it! We have always fed them high quality food, so they have always had shiny coats and high energy. I don't think they have been eating it long enough for us to see any positive or negative changes in their appearance or behavior. I on the other hand dread feeding time, the smell of this food is unbearable and seems to linger for quite sometime. I haven't decided if we will be ordering another bag of this food, or trying something different. September 10, 2016
