My almost 10 month old shih tzu is a picky eater and I’ve since noticed some sensitivities when he has gluten from table scraps so I swapped him to this food. I was hesitant at first because he’s a known picky eater but after reading ingredients and reviews I figured I’d give it a shot. He ate his afternoon feeding without hesitation and didn’t even leave the small amount of kibble behind like he did with his old food. 10/10 from Percy :)
I'm so sad. I can't feed this to my dog because I found out that she has a sensitive stomach and is extremely sensitive to pumpkin. This food has pumpkin in it. I fed my other dogs Origin for years. They not only loved it, their coats were beautiful. I do recommend it, but apparently, it's not for sensitive stomachs/intestines according to the Chewy Vet.
Our 9 year old Boykin Spaniel was having a few issues with loose stools so we tried this new dog food and it only got worse. We took her to the vet who said that the product was too high in protein for her age. Had to give it away
My 20# terrier mix switched to this product a year ago from a cheaper less quality kibble. Since switching, he has less itching/inflammation, firmer bm’s and no more required expressing. A much happier dog.
I opened the box and was surprised to see only one bag of the dog food! I waited to see if the second bag showed up and it has not and I have not seen anything explaining the problem.
Was trying to transition my dogs to this kibble because it has good ingredients and reviews but one of my dogs has been having accidents in the house since we finished the transition to 100% new food. Off to find something else...
I heard so many good things about this dog food. My dogs gained so much weight in 3 weeks on this food. It is on the expensive side. My dog was stater diabetic so needs alot of fiber and this was recommended for protein as well but my daushaunds gained so much. I am switching back to my original dog food halo turkey and sweet potato I would not recommend for small dogs. I have 5 do I'd snd they gained more than 6 lbs in a hort amount of time I can barely pick them up now would not recommend.
The usps doesn’t deliver to my address and now I’m without my order. Love chewy and the item but would appreciate using ups or fedex. .
For years, my dogs have been happily eating Orijen food and absolutely loved it. However, on our most recent purchase, something seemed off. My dogs refused to eat the new bag, and we suspected there might have been a formula change. Hoping it would resolve itself, we gave it a few days, but unfortunately, their refusal to eat continued. To our dismay, after a few days, all three of my dogs developed a severe reaction. They were constantly itching themselves and experienced numerous skin issues. We thoroughly checked for ticks, fleas, and any other possible causes, but found nothing out of the ordinary. So, we decided to immediately switch back to the old but gold, Kirkland dog food. Miraculously, their itching reduced significantly, and they resumed eating their meals normally. After some research, we discovered that Orijen had been acquired by a major corporation. Given the recent issues and our dogs' reactions, we have made the decision not to purchase Orijen food anymore. Although Orijen was once beloved by my dogs, the recent changes and adverse reactions have led us to switch to a different brand. So, pet pawrents, be aware!
We have done so much research on dog foods, and this is by far the best for our dog. NO recalls and the best ingredients for him. Absolutely love ORIJEN.
