When switching diets, it’s important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ORIJEN. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ORIJEN, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ORIJEN.

15 FRESH OR RAW INGREDIENTS

ORIJEN'S WHOLEPREY DIET
ORIJEN recipes include meat, organs, and bone, so your dog can enjoy the most nutrient-dense and succulent parts of the prey.
FIRST 5 INGREDIENTS
The first 5 ingredients are always fresh or raw animal sources, including nutrient-rich meat, fish, poultry, whole fish, and organs.
Transitioning to ORIJEN
Acclimate your dog to a new ORIJEN diet by transitioning gradually from the old food you were feeding. Start by replacing 25% of the old diet with ORIJEN food, increasing the new food amount proportionally over the next 10-14 days. By the end of the second week, you should be feeding 100% ORIJEN.

Made the switch
By nicolette18 on Mar 1, 2021
I was giving my dog earthborne holistic weight management food, which was grain free. For over a month I couldn’t find it anywhere until I realized they switched formulas and started using grain in it. My dog has been grain free for over 5 years and I didn’t want to give her something she’s not used to regardless of all the stuff going on right now about grain. She’s 11 and she’s been fine so far. I googled some dog foods and this one came up, not only are the reviews great but the ingredients are also great. I put a tiny bit of it in with her old food and she devoured it. Every time I feed her now she runs to the bowl and eats it so quickly that I may need to invest in a slow feeding bowl. So Far So Good!
By VegasBoxerMom on Mar 3, 2021
I've been trying to find a dog food for our boxer that she will eat and it is healthy. I was feeding Eukanuba Boxer, she liked that for awhile and then stopped eating it. So I tried the Fromm brand and she didn't like that at all, ended up trying this next. Third times a charm so far. I like that the first five ingredients are real meats. Hopefully she continues to enjoy this food.

Meat and more Meat!
By Dmurphy on Feb 20, 2021
Impressive ingredients list on this food. I feel like I’m feeding something close to raw. I’ve never seen another dry dog food with so many quality ingredients. No meat meal crap and it has organs in it, something missing from most canine diets. My 12 year old old Great Dane transitioned well to this.

My Dog's Favorite
By Arijens on Feb 24, 2021
My senior dog has been a picky eater for the last couple of years. I've tried various dog foods with mixed results. She would sometimes go a day without eating. I searched the internet and found Arijen's Senior. We are on our 3rd 4.5 pound bag. She loves it! Hasn't refused to eat in weeks.

We give Orijen two paws/thumbs up!
By Nicole on Jan 16, 2021
Sam has always been a bit of a finicky eater - but at 12 he’s definitely become even more so in his old age! He’s picky enough that if he doesn’t like it he simply won’t eat it. I recently switched him to Orijen Senior dog food (yes, I know it’s pricey) and he gobbles it up, and doesn’t even leave any leftovers after meal time. It makes me so happy to see him eat!

Good ingredients, mix in
By Lpkzoo on Feb 4, 2021
Has good ingredients. I mix in with Go Senior and Diamond Naturals senior. My dogs like it. As my seniors get older, I wet it and add a small amount of canned food.

Great food
By polo on Jan 31, 2021
My west is has been on Origen food since he entered my life 11 years ago. He started the senior kibble less then a year ago and has never had any major medical issues.
