ACTIVATE YOUR KIT- GO to orivet.com/activate.
COLLECT YOUR DOGS DNA- Use all of the enclosed swabs to collect your sample by rubbing the swab on the inside of you dogs cheek for 10-15 seconds. Note: No eating for 10 minutes before collection.
ALLOW SWABS TO DRY- Let the swabs air dry for at least 10 minutes before placing them back in their pouch. Note: Do not tightly seal the pouch.
MAIL US BACK THE SAMPLES- Once you have collected the samples place the pouch containing the swabs into the envelope provide and mail them back to us.

I think I might have made a mistake.

I realize that 2020 has been a nightmare for all of us but it seems you can't talk to these people. I have tried calling and it just rings and finally a message they are all busy leave name and number. I bought the test and sent it in December 15 I have no idea if they got it and their web site doesn't say. I used Embark last time I did a DNA and I will probably rue the day I didn't go back with them. I will update this review once they send the results back.

Spend the extra money and get Embark

Completely frustrated with Orivet! Set up my account selected US as my country and it won’t save the dogs weight in lb’s, it keeps defaulting to kg’s! Waited a little over 2 weeks for the results I got an automated email at 2:43am the results were ready, I logged in and it says the results are in, but when I click the link, it still says “pending results”! I have an email in to them and will call back Monday during business hours, but needless to say, I was so excited and have been waiting for the results and it’s super frustrating. Everyone else I have talked to since I ordered this, said they used Embark and it was a fabulous experience. I should have spent the few extra dollars and went with Completely frustrated with Orivet!
