Help your horse feel better by treating his hoof pain and discomfort with Osphos—an FDA-approved injectable prescribed to help control the symptoms of Navicular Syndrome. This painful condition affects the way hoof bones absorb minerals, such as calcium. It can then weaken the foot and cause horses to walk or stand abnormally—the same way humans limp when we injure a foot or ankle. Osphos contains ingredients that bind to calcium crystals, helping to limit the breakdown of bone. It may even help to improve symptoms after 28 days, so your equine can get up, get out and enjoy moving again.

Proudly sourced directly from the manufacturer or their approved distributor. Guaranteed genuine and backed by the manufacturer.

For the control of clinical signs associated with navicular syndrome in horses.

Possible Side Effects

As with all drugs, side effects may occur. In field studies, the most common side effects reported were signs of discomfort or nervousness, colic, and/or pawing.

Drug & Food Interactions

Concurrent administration of other potentially nephrotoxic drugs should be approached with caution and renal function should be monitored.

Osphos should not be used in pregnant or lactating mares, or mares intended for breeding. Use of Osphos in patients with conditions affecting renal function or mineral or electrolyte homeostasis is not recommended.

Product recd was too close to expiration than I'd have liked.

By Allie on Sep 14, 2021

The steep price increase was bad enough, but when I looked at the red label stating to use by November, I looked at my old bottle from just about 1 year ago and it had the same expiration date. I would have expected a much later one.

    Chewy once again exceeds expectations!

By KatieB on Oct 11, 2020

I am so thankful that Chewy is now carrying equine prescription products. My veterinarian recommended a dose of Osphos for my senior gelding and a quick internet search showed that it was available on Chewy! It was very competitively priced compared to other pharmacies, and it was extremely easy to create a pet profile to order the item. Chewy contacted my veterinarian for approval in a timely fashion and as usual for Chewy, it shipped very quickly. Chewy will now be my number one choice when shopping for equine products. I appreciate that the variety of items available is always expanding.
