Do any combs come with this purchase, or is it just the base clipper which would equate to a "zero" length?

Clipper a5

I've used a number of clippers over the years and found that Oster A5 series is the best and last the longest. Yes they heat up but the use of a cooling spray keeps them cool.in my experience most clippers get hot after being used for awhile. The only ones that don't are the battery ones but they don't last thru one dog grooming before needing recharging.a trick I found that helps us moving to scissor work when clipper get to warm spray with cooling spray set down and do scissor usually it's cooled down by the time the scissor work is completed to continue with the clipper

2hot2handle

It works, but the handle and the blade get hot very fast. You have to stop cutting every other cut and use cooling/cleaning spray on the blade in order to not burn either you hands or your pets. Haven't been able to complete a grooming session yet because of overheating issues.

Worst item

We bought these and used them maybe 6 times and went to use them and they come one want cut .There not worth the money

Not happy with this product

Clippers don't seem to have enough power, they get hot sooner than 20 minutes, my other Oster blades do NOT fit this one, as it says. Would like to get these exchanged for a better clipper for pets.

Oster lover

Professionally I work as a barber. I don't usually cut animal hair, but I have a good amount of experience with professional clippers/ Oster. These clippers not only overheated in minutes, but had no strength on even the high speed mode. Motor was also very noisy and vibrated heavily. Oster makes better clippers for humans!

So disappointed

I am so disappointed with this razor. I have two older Maine Coon mix cats with many mats. I read many reviews and decided to pay for this. It will not cut their hair at all.

Works Great!

This replaced another Oster product that wore out. This seems to be designed for the "professional" groomer rather than for the novice home groomer. I find it a bit heavy for my hands, but expect this product to last a long time. It comes with only a #10 blade for a short cut, but I needed something more to give a decent trim to a long haired dog. I ordered the comb attachment set and reclipped the dog in a matter of minutes with much better results.
