Works great on a shih tzu

By Kepler on Aug 10, 2020

I did some research and decided these were the best clippers for keeping my shih tzu's coat short in the summer. They worked as well as I hoped, and made it so much easier to do a haircut, with no problem cutting through her dense, fine coat. The clippers do get pretty hot, but it wasn't an issue for I did some research and decided these were the best clippers for keeping my shih tzu's coat short in the summer. The clippers do get pretty hot, but it wasn't an issue for me, since I just took a few breaks to clean and re-oil the blades and let them cool down. … more

    BUYER BEWARE!

By JakeNail on Nov 17, 2020

POS. Bought it even got the extended warranty at tractor supply. Doesn't cut at all. Even change the blades. Contacted the company they won't do anything. DO NOT BUY.

    Gets hot really fast

    By on

I have a standard poodle and it cuts his hair well but gets hot very quickly. Even using cooling spray I have to change the blade after about 5 minutes.

Clippers get hot and smell like oil!

    By on

These clippers were recommended by a friend who groomed dogs for 15 years. However, the ones I received get hot and smell like oil, even have had oil come out of the clippers where the holes are on the side of clipper. I purchased other blades to go onto the clipper and find it very difficult to get the blade to snap into place so that it will work as it should. I am new at grooming our "Doodle" puppy and hope that as I continue to use these clippers they will hold up and not have any other problems. My hope was that these clippers would be a long time investment as I am only occasionally grooming one dog. Disappointed with my new clippers

    By on

I am a professional groomer and have used oster clippers for years. I am very disappointed with this set. I used it for the first time on Saturday grooming a dog that had to be stripped down. The screws came lose causing it to vibrate severely. I'm very disappointed.
