The Oster A5 Turbo Single Speed Pet Clipper would be a great alternative option for grooming dogs of all sizes.
Can that be used for very thick and curly hair dogs? Our dog is a mix of Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever and has a lot of hair mats, almost like alpacas in some areas.

Besides the A4AU and A3AU blades that come with this clipper, the Suitical Blade, the Standard Flat Bottom Blocking Blade, and the Thick Bottom Blocking Tall Tooth blade. This clipper is also compatible with the Showmaster clipper head.
