Just got my boy 3 months ago and used the standard curry comb (the soft plastic with ridges/teeth) that I've used for years on previous horse. My new boy would paw and pace while currying. Bought this and in the first use my boy was yawning a chewing. He LOVES this curry comb. The curry part is great but the handle is awkward for me. The handle is too awkward to hold and push hard to get dirt and hair out, and the space between the handle and brush is too small to fit my hand between so I can hold the brush. Would be good if you have tiny hands or just need to curry lightly The curry part is great but the handle is awkward for me. More gentle but effective

This is great for the sensitive spots along the horse’s back & withers. Effectively buffs loose hair & dirt! Very nice brush.

Golden Retriever LOVES this brush
By Cali on Oct 14, 2020
I use this on my golden retriever puppy after bathing. Best brush for her coat and she loves it so much she falls asleep to it. Works like a charm to settle her down. Best item under $10 I've bought so far for her.

Perfect for thinner summer coats
By Sarah on Sep 3, 2020
I have a pretty fluffy guy but he gets a much thinner summer coat. This softer curry is perfect for his current coat. He even likes this lightly on his forehead. Very happy!

SENSITIVE ARABIAN
By Kim1 on Aug 29, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
My Arabian has always hated to be curried. I’ve used the typical hard plastic curry, traditional rubber curry, rubber curry with thick “fingers” etc....he hated them all....until THIS curry.....he still tenses up but not anything near the dancing around in cross ties I deal with when using another curry. Definitely good for those OTTBs and Arabs

I wanted to add to my collection of Oster tack products. This curry comb is awesome!!! Very soft bristles but has the punch to get all the dirt and grime off of your horse. Nice pink color! Very durable and excellent quality! I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase this curry comb!! I love it!!! Highly recommend!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!!

Great brush!

My boy doesn't get as excited about this fine curry but I don't see him trying to run either. This is great for the more tender areas like legs , tummy and head.
