Such a great product! This version in particular was one of the most inexpensive I've found and because of all the great reviews about how durable it is, especially considering weight capacity, I was excited to give it a try. It took about two days of me placing treats into it and helping my cat investigate it, but once he went in on his own, I barely saw him out of the sunny seat for two days straight! He absolutely loves it. He is a very large cat, part Maine Coon and over 13 lbs, and he fits in it perfectly. I would suggest looking up assembly on YouTube because it took me a few tries before I figured out exactly how to put it together. And as others have mentioned, make sure the window surface Such a great product! My cat Ty absolutely LOVED this cat hammock! He would sit on it and watch the birds and squirrels outside and take naps in the sun. I have another cat that is 16lbs that also likes to occasionally lay in this. Never once have the suction cups come undone from the window while my cats are in it. The only note I have to say with this product is that after time the velcro does become loose and sometimes the fabric mat will slide around on the structure. This was easily fixed with some thread and a needle!

I just rescued this little guy. He is now 10 lbs and curious all the time . I did have to put a bench by the window to help him up. The window is about 3ft off the ground but since the bed sticks out now get wasn't jumping up. I also have an 18 lb cat who will climb up too now. He was too big for just the ledge. There is a bush outside the window, so this will be great to March the birds in spring. This is night watch. Lol

My cat was sitting on top of our wobbly headboard which always made me very nervous. Was excited to find this to give her a more stable place to lay. I was skeptical about the suction cups being secure so I waited a couple of weeks before writing a review, but so far they have held up very well even with condensation on the windows! I can even push down on this and it doesn’t seem to budge. The first couple of days, my cat chewed on the cords holding it up, but she has gotten over it. Bite marks can be seen on them, but it doesn’t seem to have gotten any weaker. My cat is 9lbs but I am confident it will hold her even as she grows. Highly recommend!

I totally see that its supposed to be an affordable window sill. But my cat just will not jump to it! Even if I lay him on there he jumps off. I think it may not feel right to him. I used to have a nice expensive one that attached to the horizontal wooden strip of the window frame but I lost it when I moved to my new apartment. So I tried getting this one to replace it for my cat. He just isn't interested in it. Sad.

This was fairly simple to put together, and has been my kitty’s favorite place to hang out since I got it! I was worried about the suction cups not holding due to crazy temperature swings: 70 last week, and a high of 12 here today. The window where I put it gets full afternoon sun. It has been holding strong for two weeks, so I am more than pleased! I also love that the fleece pad is not attached so I can wash it easily, and the canvas that created the hammock is slick and super easy to wipe down. So happy!!

My cats have always loved this. They have no trouble sharing it and squeezing in together. But sometimes, like here, they have the chance to stretch and have it all to themself. They love watching the birds sit on the wire out the window. Here is my middle child, Felixx as he has his paw up trying to touch one of them. I suggest this product as it is a great space saving spot for kitties to enjoy any time of year.

My cat absolutely loves it but the bottom suctions will NOT stick. I make it work by having them rest on the top part of the bottom panel (how it looks like it is resting in the picture except I have a larger ledge since I have a window pane below that one that can slide up) and luckily the top ones are sticking. If you can do something like that, this is an awesome place for your cat to sleep. If you can't, good luck. Might try another product.

My goofy cat spends most of his day in this perch!From napping to watching the outdoors to his many different sitting/sleeping poses he loves it and he cracks me up in it.Ive also taken it off the window and easily just hangs back up.

Requires sewing to assemble. The nylon cover that slips over the frame that forms the sleeping platform is held on by two 1” Velcro pieces. The Velcro won’t support the tension caused by my 9lb cat and pulls apart causing the nylon platform to collapse and kitty falls to floor. Sewing the nylon cover on mitigates this issue, so beware. In general construction is rather flimsy but you get what you pay for. IMO it’s not worth the $17.
