Answer by ChewyOct 13, 2017
The Small Cube can hold 3/4 cup while the Large can hold 3 cups.

Is the Buster Food Cube difficult to clean?
Answer by ChewyJun 10, 2018
The center is removable for easy cleaning.

Does it provide treats itself
Answer by ChewyNov 08, 2018
This toy dispenses treats when your dog rolls the toy around the floor. It does not dispense them automatically.

What is the maximum size of kibble that will work with this? For example, will the Royal Canin GSD Adult kibble fit and be able to come out?
Answer by ChewyOct 15, 2019
The dispensing hole on this toy is approximately 1 inch in diameter. Any treat or kibble smaller than 1 inch in diameter can be used.

Not great, feels cheap

For the price, this feels really poorly made. The plastic mechanism you're supposed to unlock to put the treats in was really hard to maneuver and never seems to fit in just right. It's also made of pretty hard plastic so it's pretty noisy on hard floors. The only upside is that it can fit a lot of kibble at once.

A puzzle for me and my dog

Difficult to open, I had google opening it to find a video to show me how to do it.

Keep them busy

I have bought 2 or 3 of these. They work well for pets that want to constantly be playing or need to be slow fed. Great for fosters and chewers but keep an eye on the middle piece. If it comes out they make a great chew toy, hence the reason I have had to buy multiples. Highly recommend unless your pet is scared of noise. The kibble inside makes some good noise as it gets pushed around!

Icky Stuff Inside

Some black gunk inside that doesn't come off. Not sure what it is. My dog found this more frustrating than enjoyable.

It does not work correctly, it was only used twice and it broke, not recommended.

bad purchase

This is by-far one of the worst toys I’ve bought my dog. Don’t waste your money. Cheaply made plastic and difficult to load . My high energy pup was bored with it.

It is just okay

We use it, but it's not great. Inside it just slide on the floor, I did read this in other reviews and figured it was okay because I'd be using it outside. I also slide on pavement. (that may have been in a review and I missed it) We put a blanket out so there is some traction for it to roll, but then I need to occasionally put it back on the blanket. Not a big deal. Also I thought it had different levels of challenge but there aren't any settings to change it. It's either locked or unlocked.

Keeps My Dog Entertained

I've had these cubes in the past, and yes you do need to use it on a non-slippery surface. They can be hard to open, but what has worked for me very easily is to use one of those very soft and flexible rubber jar lid gripper openers inserted in the hole and then either use your thumb or the end of a handle from a plastic kitchen utensil (spatula, ladle ,etc. preferably with a handle that is tapered and a close fit) and it should open easily. Always works for me.

NOT for hard floors

We had to google a YouTube video to open the cube, however we tried pliers & an Allen wrench but still could not get it open. It finally opened when we inserted a screwdriver, located a lip inside, and turned counter-clockwise. The cube has no traction on vinyl or wood flooring, so it needs to be used on carpet or other area with friction. Had it been silicone, it would have offered some friction. This TPR is a hard, smooth plastic, which also makes it a bit noisy--especially on a harder surface floor.
