Our cats loved this toy and it kept them entertained although they managed to get the feathers off within a day. I wished the toy came with a couple of replacement feathers even for a little more money.
I bought this for my nine month old kitten because I was worried she wasn't mentally stimulated enough while she was at home. It was very cute for the first five minutes but unfortunately I find that she loses interest in it in about that time after it intially turns on. Also isn't this toy supposed to be left on while you're away? I did that and when I got back the feather part was unattached and there's actually a few inches of fishing line missing and now I'm concerned my cat swallowed it and will have to contact the vet.
I have a 4 year old, 10 pound kitty and the first thing I noticed was that the height was far to short. I turned it on just in case he would still like it, and for the first few minutes he would play with it and then walk away. But, the wire holding the feathers kept getting stuck on the pole after it spun for awhile. And in total, it wasn’t keeping his interest for more than 30 seconds at a time. After coming back to it on the 4-5 time, he ripped the feathers straight off of the pole and tilted it off its balance so it was on the ground. Definitely not for active adult cats.
I bought this for my Bengal kitten who loves to play, but all of my cats are into it! The settings are hilarious, 10 min, 20 min, or 6 hours? Not much in between lol. The buttons on the side is a bit of a design flaw, when kitten gets rough with it he knocks it on it's side and it gets turned off. But for under 20 bucks it's already worth the cost and we have only had it for 2 days.
nice toy good price but my cat wasn't interested in it at all, kind of scares her, its noisy, the wand needs to be longer to short. Not to sure I would recommend it.
I love everything about this toy, spins nicely and I love the concept. My cat was able to bite the feathers out of the attachment in about 30 seconds. I will be trying to look for another attachment to use for it, but beware if you have cats that love the bite toys. Wont last very long but love the rest of the toy! Just kinda lame without the feathers.
Within minutes of my cat playing with this toy, the feather part was detached and fishing line broken.
I love that there is a timer on this! A little catnip spray on the feather and that thing had to fight for its life. My little hunter enjoys watching it and then smacking it around.
My cats really enjoy the toy but now it barely spins. I replaced the battery and everything and it just doesn’t seems to work nearly as good as it did three weeks ago when a I bought it.
My kitten loves this. She's very active. This helps relieve it.
