Doesn't Slow Eating Much

We feed fresh food so I'm skeptical of using plastic bowls, but we also have a scarfer. We got this bowl to try to curve his speed, but it's barely slowed him unfortunately.

Perfect fit

I was looking for an alternative to our small, plastic slow feeder bowl. This is just perfect. It’s large enough to easily fit big Labrador kibble and to spread it around for slower eating. The non-skid on the bottom is great, at least while new, so she’s not pushing her bowl all around the kitchen. Very happy with this purchase!

High quality bowl

This bowl is metal which sets it apart from a lot of slow feeders. It is perfect for my dog, as she eats rapidly, though it is not as small as some plastic counterparts so is easier to eat from.

SLOW DOWN!

This bowl holds about 2 full cups of dog food(could prob get 2.5 without changing the efficacy). The kibble comes just to the top of the raised middle. It is heavy enough that my 65lb "puppy" does NOT knock it over. The rubber bottom keeps it from scooting. Washes in the dishwasher fine. Like it very much.

It was very apparent from the start that our Golden pup needed to slow down how he eats his meals; Bloat is not something to risk! Our first attempt was a well made plastic food bowl with with circular barriers to keep the food spread out. That worked but, Winston assumed if he could chew it, it was a toy. So if we weren't quick enough to pick the bowl, he'd cart it off to his lounge chair and nosh on the hard plastic for a bit. Didn't take too long till it was a total wreck. I ordered this stainless steel bowl which is serving the purpose without looking like an eyesore! And there'll be no noshing on this bowl!

Nice bowl but....

This is a nice bowl,with rubber bottom so it doesn't slide across the floor but it was purchased to slow down my 7 month old Brittany who gobbles up his food SO fast. This bowl did NOT slow him down.

This is the second bowl I bought in this brand, since it worked so well for our first dog! It really does slow down their chewing so they aren’t as likely to choke or throw up. The quality of the bowl is great too - easy to clean and stays in place while the dogs eat.

Nice heavy base to prevent sliding, and doesn't allow dog to "inhale" food. They have to navigate their way around the middle part, which slows them down a bit. Medium sized bowl was the correct size for a very large 4-month old puppy, I may have to go to bigger size later on.

Bowl works great, really slowed my lab pup's aggressive eating habit. I wish I would have gotten the 8 cup bowl the 5 cup is a tad small.
