I bought this for my boxer mix, but he wasn’t quite bright enough to figure it out… luckily, we were dog sitting for a friend’s brilliant coonhound a few days later and let him have a go. He figured it out very quickly but it still kept him entertained for a solid 15 minutes (for one cup of kibble). It seems well made, recommend for smarter pups.
This toy is hardly a game. I have other treat-dispensing toys that require my dog to work at getting her food. My dog eats too fast, so I use these slow-release toys for her kibble. The open ends of this one are much too wide and the kibble just falls out with the slightest touch. The knotted rope does nothing. I wouldn't buy it again.
Gave him this with a few treats inside, he destroyed the nylon rope in minutes, I decided I am going to get some balls to replace the knotted ropes and see what happens.
The toy came cross threaded so badly it broke open opening it. Do not waste your money on this toy.
My husky mix destroys most toys. If a toy is capable of being torn up, my Tommy finds the weak spot and goes for it! Tommy has TRIED to demolish this toy, and hasn’t yet! Any toy that lasts a week, is a good toy in my house, and this is a good toy! He has gotten decent chew marks in it, but we still use it. I have had toys that fray quickly, this one hasn’t frayed yet
The rope is so skinny that the treats fall out right away there is no challenge for getting the treats so disappointing
She loves this. It’s our second one. I have bought 4 as gifts. She never breaks it and she’s a power chewer. The rope gets stinky and frayed tho. I wrote to manufacturer to see could buy new rope. Unfortunately, no. Sad face to the manufacturer. But we will continue to buy them
Just got this yesterday and was so excited for my dog to start playing with it. Unfortunately, within 15 minutes the knots came untied and frayed and you couldn't tie them back together again. What a terrible product and terrible waste of money.
