    Purrfect Toy

    By on

We have a very active 3 year-old Bengal who loves to play. We purchased this toy as an interactive toy that he can use to entertain himself with and he has loved it from the second we took it out of the box. We hung it over the back of the door and he has been hopping for it and batting it around since day 1. We will be elsewhere in the house and often hear the little squeaking sound indicating that he is playing with it on his own! Our 10 year-old cat enjoys watching from afar, but doesn’t play with it (she’s not much of a jumper anymore), so I would say it is better suited for younger/more active cats.

    Awesome toy~

    By on

My kitties love this little thing! It gives them a challenge that forces them to jump and reach, which I do like because of the added exercise for them. The string at the bottom did break, but nothing that retying couldn't fix. Great for the price. Will be getting a couple more to put around the house and as gifts!

2nd time I’ve purchased this toy.

    By on

Only one of my 3 cats likes this toy, but the one who does LOVES it!! I hear the little bell at all hours of the day and night. After about 6 months of constant use, he finally snapped the door bracket. I am happy to provide him with a replacement!

    Squeaky mouse

    By on

This is a great toy, which my finicky cats now seldom play with after they loved it the first day. But that's a pattern with them. However, I still think it's a great toy. The mouse makes a very life-like squeak when it is batted. I think most cats would love it and continue to play with it. I may pass it along to my friend's cat, which I have done with other toys.

    Love, Love, Love "SQUEAK"!!!

    By on

From the moment I pulled the tab and the first squeaks started, my 8 year old male cat was interested. Often I will hear him initiating play time and running and jumping all over. (This is great for him!) He loves to grab the mouse and run to the other side of the room to "eat it" and then (blammo) he loosens his grip and the mouse goes flying back to the door. Off he runs to grab it again. It has held up to his rough-housing and there are no signs of loosening or breaking. I did have to add about 6 inches of elastic to get it long enough for my door, but that was a no-brainer and now his play times (which were limited to 2 minutes) last an average of 40 minutes. Fun toy at first...

    By on

So when we set up this toy, our cat had a blast. She would NOT stop going for the mouse, and she even had fun trying to flip it behind the door. It seemed like a perfect way to keep her entertained while I'm out of the house. However, literally within 2 days of receiving this toy in the mail, the stick/hook contraption snapped! Our cat is 1 year old and 10 pounds. She is as average as you get, but either she's unusually strong (not really) or the quality of this toy is not that great. I think it's the latter. Oh well, thanks for a fun two days! I probably won't recommend this product.

The cat had withdrawals and nearly drove us crazy!

    By on

After 4 months the door hanger broke. No surprise with a cat swinging on it 8 hours a day LOL This has been the only store-bought toy she has liked. We bought the first one at Christmas, I bought 2 this time so we never have to listen to her complain about not having it again.

    Great idea, not strong

My cat was instantly drawn to it but with two good pulls the plastic stick that goes out holding the string snapped where it connects to the base...

About half an hour in to the cats batting, biting, jumping at it. the stick broke. Now it hangs from our cahir in the dining room.
