Wish it held more & was easier to open

I fill the balls with kibble, so I like the small size of the dispensing hole. It doesn't dispense too many pieces at a time like other brands do. The small hole helps stretch the activity out over a longer period of time. But if you're looking for a ball that can dispense bulky, unhealthy junk treats like Temptations, this product won't work; the hole will be way too small. Wish the ball held more kibble and wish it wasn't so difficult to open (a butter knife or screwdriver is required).

Great treat balls

These are a great size for kittens and cats. Not to heavy for them to push with their paws or head. I had these treat balls about 5 years ago but gave them away when my cat passed away. Adopted a 5 year old cat 8 months ago. Got her a larger treat ball but it was heavy and the opening to the ball was to big. This one is just right for cats. Great price as well.

I thought this would be a new and interesting toy for our two cats- well, they sniffed it, ( WITH their favorite treat inside), patted the ball gently and ignored it!! So much for working for their treats!!( they must be spoiled!! HaHa!)

Fun treat balls

My 2 cats have fun playing soccer with their treat balls and enjoy pouncing on their treats as they fall out of the balls. I keep the balls closed and only add treats that fit easily inside the hole.

Great for occasional treats, not for constant use

Overall, I do recommend these treat dispensers. My two male kitties loved them. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they wear out and no longer stay snapped closed. I admit, I was using them as meal dispensers two or more times a day, not just for treats once in a while... so they wore out faster than they probably should have... but the fact remains that no matter what, the design will make sure they wear out eventually. I've gone through 4 of these dispensers and finally switched to something larger and more durable. For occasional treats (and if you only use one at a time) I do believe they are a great item for the price.

My kitten LOVES this for batting around and getting treats! It's pretty hard to pry open with your fingers; I recommend a screwdriver or butterknife. But because it's hard to open, my kitten cannot open it. Hours of entertainment.

The hole is too small

We really did want to like this toy as it fits all the requirements for a treat ball. However the outlet hole was too small for even my smallest of treats (feline greenies catnip flavored or freeze dried shrimps) which is frustrating to a kitty who can smell and hear the treats. Also my owner had a hard time opening the balls for adding and removing treats. Save your money for a different treat ball.

Sad waste of money

Honestly I thought it was so simple I threw out the wrapping and filled it with treats. Well, its not flexible. The hole is small so my cat can't get to the treats & lost interest. So now I'm stuck with 2 plastic balls of garbage. Can't even return because I tossed the wrapping

The holes in the balls are too small for any treat to be dispensed from. The balls are cute for general playtime though, they roll very well. Overall it was a let down.
