Dogs have the special Bark Box company, cats don't have that. Ordering from Chewy is fast, affordable and affords me the chance to decide which items I want for a special meow box for a special cat. Thanks Chewy
My kitten loves this toy, which is great. She also managed to bust one of the side seams from normal wrestling play within 15 minutes of me giving her the toy. I was able to sew it up and she has continued to play with it. About a week later most of the hair on the tail is gone and I've had to reinforce a seam on the other side of the one that burst the first day. Just know that this is a toy for short duration, don't expect it to last very long before it needs replacing. Still better than her wanting to kick and play bite my arm ;-)
My cat ADORES this toy. Unfortunately, with just a few minutes of play, he is able to rip it open. We have tons of toys he frequently plays with that we’ve had for years and are still in good shape. This one is not made well enough to withstand the “kicking” or any real level of interest/play.
listen to the reviews - fell apart shortly after opening
My child, god bless her, loves to try to get peoples' hair, so I wanted a toy to redirect that energy and she loves it!! Quickly became her most beloved toy and our hair is finally left alone. It's well made and very suitable for daily use.
My new baby loves it so much. However it is much bigger than I thought and the same size as her!
My sister recommended "this ugly thing" to me after her 3 cats would fight over who got to play with it. My cat was slow to warm up to it but it soon became her FAVORITE toy. She would jump up with it and wrestle it. Carry it around. Deliver it to me as a gift every day. No matter where we would be in the house this platypus would end up by me. Eventually she ripped it apart and I had to retire it. But I'm here to repurchase her favorite toy!
the only way my cat would play with it was if I sprinkled it with catnip, nothing else to do with it...boring toy! (good size though).
This toy is not one of the toys my girls play with the most. I don't know why. It sure looks great to me, but I'm not a cat. I have seen Li'l Bit using it as a kick toy, but the other two girls just ignore it. I guess it's just a case of "you can't win 'em all."
Much bigger than I expected, which isn’t a bad thing. The fabric and crinkle is very interesting to my cat. However, after just a couple play sessions, the side ripped open. Also, it would be great if this contained catnip. The main downside is having to reinforce the stitching yourself, or risk your cat eating the stuffing.
