Do the little sushi pieces come off? Or are they attached? Seems like a choking hazard if they come off
Answer by ChewyMar 04, 2021
The sushi flippers do not come off. Your pet will simply slide the sushi flippers along the tracks for their treats.

I just got this toy and my dog used it but was a pro at it.How do I make it harder for him?
Answer by ChewyAug 04, 2021
An alternative way to make the puzzle more challenging, is to try putting peanut butter or frozen treats in the item.

Can a cat play with it
Answer by ChewyMay 04, 2021
This toy is suitable for cats and dogs.

Is it safe to be put in crate with puppy? My only concern is whether my GSD puppy can chew this puzzle into pieces and swallow some. I plan to use this toy to keep her busy in crate.
Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2021
The Sushi pieces are attached and not intended for removal. No toy is indestructible. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged. Keep out of reach of children.

Great for my chihuahua mix!

We tried this toy with my chihuahua mix as well as our cat. The wells were a little too deep and narrow for the cat to get the treats out because he couldn't get his mouth in there with his whiskers. However, my dog had no issue; he loves the toy and has a great time finding the treats. Definitely recommend for dogs, but it seemed like it wasn't built for cats to use.

A little toooo easy!

My 1 year old Cavachon is not the greatest at puzzles, but even this one was a little too easy for him! He “solves” it in under a minute - we were hoping it would occupy him for longer. It’s good quality & cute, but doesn’t really work him out mentally & results in too many treats for the duration.

cat puzzle

My Tishy is a smart one. But she loves her food. So this was a perfect toy and puzzle for her. It keeps her busy and is a nice treat for her. We use is perilously to keep her sharp, or when company is over and she gets a little too excited about everyone eating our food all at once! Tons of fun to watch them play!

Cats can't get the treats out of the holes

This is cute, but it was a complete waste since it doesn't work for either of my cats. The holes are too deep for them to get the treats out once they've uncovered them by sliding the sushi pieces. The hole is too small around for them to reach down and bite the treat, so they try to bat it out with their paws. Because of how deep the holes are though, they can't. My cat will usually play with it for a few minutes, trying to bat the treats out, maybe get 1 treat out of 9 after a while, and then give up and lose interest. I wish it was designed better.

Really Great

We have a Golden Retriever who has an autoimmune disease and can no longer walk so we need things to entertain her. This was a hit! She had all the treats in about 45 seconds. The only think I would say is that you need to have small treats for this. The compartments are quite small.

cute beginner puzzle

My dog is not a mensa but he was bored with this pretty fast. It's going to be handed down to my other dogs and actually I think my cats are going to love it best. I ordered another toy that is more difficult. It'll definitely tell me if my dog was lucky or smart.

My puppy loves this

My 10 week old puppy is obsessed with this toy. He figured it out after the first couple of times but it still keeps him busy and thinking for 5 minutes and he has fun doing it.

Adorable and Durable so far

This toy was my first purchase and my Olde English Bulldogge's introduction to puzzle toys. When I first introduced him to it, he didn't quite know what to do, and just tipped it over to get the kibble pieces out quickly haha. After that first time, he figured out what to do, and seems to enjoy moving the pieces to get the hidden treats. It was durable enough to survive his initial "tantrum" of running around with it in his mouth and shaking it, there's no evidence it ever happened. I will definitely be looking into more challenging puzzle toys in the near future.

Cool toy pets can get excited for!

I waited a while to review this till I saw how my cat reacted to it after she had time to learn it. It took her a while to catch on to it but now that she knows what it is she gets excited when I fill it up and she's learned to get all the treats out. I'll fill it up once a day and she'll snack through out the day.

Games tor beginners

I adopted a 12 year old who apparently never had the opportunity to play. I thought a game like this would entice her to do something other than sit and look out the window or sleep. It works great with treats, but not her kibble! She often needs to be prompted that there is more than one treat hidden, but seems to enjoy the game. It is simple, but well made and easily washable. Not for pets who play with other games or enjoy hunting for hidden surprises
