OurPets Switchgrass Unscented Clumping Grass Cat Litter

This is the best litter I have used for Gismo. It clumps, no odor, light tracking....and yet they took it off the market. Can you tell us why? Recommend a substitute?

Not only is this litter eco friendly it controls odor extremely well. It even controls fecal odor. I think the difference is the charcoal. Once you get the hang of scooping this litter, it is pretty easy. I actually like the smell of this litter!!! It tracks some but it is soft so easy on floors and easy to sweep or vacuum. I have 11 cats and they love this litter. Please get it on the shelves so I can order it!

Best litter when it's available. Excellent odor control and clumping. My feral cat, who's now an indoor cat loved it. What happened?

I have been using this litter for a few years now and will continue. I have 3 cats and my house is only 1500 square feet. I will not tolerate the smell of a litter box in my house. This litter is soft and very odor absorbent. The urine is extremely scoopable and the best thing of all is that once I figured out how much litter to put in the box (around 2 inches) so I don’t waste it it has turned into a fairly economical choice as well as makes me feel good about what I’ve given my cats to use the bathroom in. It is a little bit dusty when you first empty the litter into the box but the dust doesn’t last long and it doesn’t get kicked up with each use. This litter is odor free - which is best for your cat. It absorbs the odors from use quite well. Easy to scoop. No more mess than any other litter - we've tried many! And best of all, it is safe for the cats AND the cats love it! Have recommended it to holistic vets. Wish all animal shelters would use it (or at the very least an odor-free, chemical-free litter).

My cats love this litter but it has been out of stock for quite some time. Any ideas when it will be back in stock or ideas on a comparable litter that is in stock?

I have used SEVERAL litters that are similar & find this litter the BEST. Litter does not leave the litter box. If, so, the litter is easily to see on a tile floor.

Firstly, love that it’s natural. Secondly, I love how well it works. I have a particularly stinky kitty whose odors defeat any litter not drenched in cheap perfume. Yuck. This one handles her issues beautifully. Also use it at bottom of bird cage instead of newspaper and scooping is so much better and cleaner. Haven’t experienced any of the negatives of other reviewers. My only negative is that it’s a tad pricey.

I have very literally tried just about every litter out there & am convinced that my usual grass seed/ cassava mix is the best. While I really prefer to have something more natural, I do occasionally try new type of litter when they come out - just in case there's something that works better, BUT this one's not it! I really wanted to like it, but even mixing this into my current mix makes me want to just dump the whole box in the garbage! While the light & fluffy texture is appealing to me (& the 3 strays I've taken in) I don't like how dark it is compares to my usual almost white mix, then there's the slightly weird smell & not as great absorbtion of this saw grass compared to what I'm used I have very literally tried just about every litter out there & am convinced that my usual grass seed/ cassava mix is the best. My 7 cats have all taken very well to this litter. I like the grassy smell and they don't seem to mind it. Mine do NOT like scented litter. Not sure why someone would object to the color when it works well and is lightweight. I have ordered it again.
