Mishaps Mid-Hike
By Hailey on Nov 4, 2021
Used these several times to go hiking with my dogs. For the most part they function as they should. I bought one in each different color. The first time I used the blue one on my husky, the D-ring where your leash clips, broke mid-hike. Unfortunately, my dog realized he was no longer on leash and quickly got far enough ahead of me to the point I had to chase him. Not good on a trail! I figured I would give the backpacks another try. After all, the green one still worked perfectly fine. I put it on my husky and we went hiking again. I had no issues until we got onto a busier part of the trail. Then the D-ring broke again. Such a shame. They look really good on the dogs.

3 years strong
By Amba on Aug 30, 2021
I've been using this pack daily for over 3 years now. I have the blue bag, and my dog carries about 7lbs every day (water and food). He didn't like the over the head aspect when we first started, but he's used to it now and gets excited when I pick it up. The only thing complaint I have is that the front chest strap has rolled up and no longer lays flat against my dogs chest. He doesn't seem to notice, but it drives me nuts. I do have to keep the straps tight or will rotate around him, but it's only a few seconds each morning to tighten. It's got two tears in the mesh, but for 3 years of use, that's pretty good! Not a great product
By Mark on Jun 25, 2021
First this pack doesn't have the front and back labeled. I tried accessing the video with the girl explaining the pack but it doesn't work, it just sits there and spins...it's not a very good fit for my dog, I forget what size I ordered and the size of the pack isn't marked on the pack itself. Some of these packs and harnesses are easy to use and some aren't which is important as your dog tries to wiggle out. This one is not very easy to use.

Whoever made this pack doesn't have a dog
By Nads on Jun 28, 2021
This is impractical for dogs - you have to slip it over their head and get a foot through in one go. It should have had an additional clasp around the neck to avoid this. For the price, probably wouldn't be too hard to alter on your own. It's otherwise a decent pack with good capacity and I like the ventilation on the back. Just not practical for easy use.

Works great, my dog is now able to carry stuff needed for when on a hike, the water container, water, and some treats

Doesn't hold up
By Poppy on Apr 7, 2021
We've used this backpack, on our 9 month old puppy, 3 times. It's ripping where the d ring and handle are and she's off leash most of the hike, so it's not even like she's pulling on it. I'm very unhappy but at least it wasn't too expensive. Overall, this is not a good backpack and I would not recommend it.

Do not buy!
By Sabrina on Jan 7, 2021
I do not recommend this for big dogs or long hikes. On My 70lb Shepard mix It slid all over the place without anything in It. Also the chest strap is maybe supposed to connect to the rest but there are no directions at all and no Velcro on the strap itself?? Either way, poor product and wish I would’ve just bought a more expensive one than going for the sale.

Great pack for a great price!
By Melanie on Jan 18, 2021
For the price, this pack is perfect! We've used it a half dozen times or so without issue. It does tend to slip and slide a bit, but once you get the fit right for your pup it seems to stay put. Whether you're doing a short or long day hike, it has space for plenty of treats/water bowls/poop bags. I was also skeptical as to whether it would fit our 70lb, barrel-chested doggo, but the large works fine.

Great for carrying beer
By Binny on Jan 1, 2021
I bought this with the intention of my dog carrying his poo and water on our runs, but so far I have just used it to put beer in for him to carry to the dog park. It works great for this. Seems like you need to put equal weight on each side so it doesn’t tilt under their belly. Maybe I’m not using it correctly

Axel LOVES IT
By Melpomenem13 on Nov 6, 2020
Got this for our new english springer spaniel puppy. He looks ridiculously cute in it, but I'm a might biased lol. We purchased because even with 2 mile walks and hours at the dog park he would still be "springing" around and getting into trouble. He just has that much energy. So I got this to hopefully not only give him a job but tucker him out. It works PERFECTLY. I put less than 10% of his body weight in the packs, 1 regular sized water bottle on each side. It kept the weight perfectly distributed and BONUS was just heavy enough to keep him from jumping, but not from running around and having fun. It is still a tad big on him, but he's a puppy and has lots of growing to do. We got him Got this for our new english springer spaniel puppy. I cant wait till covid is over and we can start our long hiking/camping weekends and he can carry his own water and poo bags! <3 … more
