I bought the toy again, cause it was on sale for less than $4. Toy is durable, as was the last one I bought. However the squeaker was broken. Squeakers don't last long, even if they work when you buy the toys. Our doodle still loves having a new toy, even though the squeaker was broken.

Has lasted
By Erika on Dec 4, 2019
So far, not totally destroyed, and that is hard to do. The "feet" did get chewed up and we cut them off, bit the body is holding strong.

Durable body, legs not so much
By Avery on Oct 17, 2018
I got this for our 3 month old rescue pup (Rhodesian mix? DNA test is pending). She was able to destroy an "indestructible" squeaker toy in a couple days so I needed to look for something stronger. The body of this toy is definitely going to last a while, but the legs are a thinner, softer material. Within about 10 minutes I had to amputate one of legs because she had ripped a piece off and was trying to eat it. The other legs had to be cut off over the next few days, and I also needed to peel off the stripes, which are some sort of rubbery appliqué. However, now we have a very strong green worm toy LOL!

Strong Toy
By Boysmom on Aug 13, 2018
I bought this for my little 16 lb dog and a slightly bigger one for my Lab. Both went for the legs so I had to cut the legs off. They both lost interest in it after a day or two. But it is a very well made Toy. I guess it depends on your dogs personality, some want softer material, some want a squishy ball, some don’t care as long as it is a toy.

Holding up
By Tracy on Jul 20, 2017
Holding up unlike many others. I have a dachshund baby and she is hard on all toys, this still looks perfect. Only issue I wish the squeakers were easier to squeak.

Larger green lizard toy

Will plays with these quite a bit. Although it has no legs and is pretty well chewed at the corners the squeakers are are still in place.

Tough Toy

Lizard Dog Toy - cutest lizard ever!
By PaulyAnnie on Dec 31, 2016
Our dog likes to chew toys so I looked for one that would hold up. The body is perfect for him but the legs/feet need to be made of stronger material. It is a fun toy & he likes playing with it.

Excellent product!!! Not "indestructable"...
By JawsofaGreatWhite on Sep 30, 2016
... but with our dog NOTHING is- EXTREMELY aggressive chewer has so far annihilated all other "tough" toys in less than 1 day! These he starts with holes to get squeakers (supervised & usually under 10 minutes)- which I promptly remove with needlenose pliers. He never "eats" any pieces, so from then on he's free to try to pull "plugs" out of it, gnaw it, shred it, etc. Toy (in sections) lasts about a month- a MIRACLE!- & picking up all those little pieces still beats destroyed personal property ANY day of the week.

Tough Little Lizard!
By DeborahJ on Aug 30, 2016
My dog is a very aggressive chewer and, unfortunately, eater of toys. He did manage to chew the feet off this toy, but the body is still intact after two weeks. New record!

pretty tough, but not indestructible
By cindra527 on Aug 15, 2016
We have a real chewer. She can destroy most toys within minutes. She did do damage the first night, but she still has a bedroom toy weeks later, so definitely worth the money
