  • Works Great!

    By on

My boxer was inhaling his food before I even put the dog food bad back in its place. He is a big 40lbs almost 5-month puppy and when he began vomiting I looked for something to slow him down. This does the job. The first time he ate from this bowl he barked at it for 1 minutes, then he took about 10 minutes to eat his kibble. He does not vomit anymore!

  • Really works!

This made my pup go from 60 seconds of eating to 8 minutes! She's about 10lbs right now so we only feed her 1/3 cup at a time so the mini (which is gigantic btw) works well. It says it holds 2 cups which I believe would be filled to the brim so it wouldn't be as challenging for bigger dogs. Those that feed their dog 2 cups per feeding go with the bigger size. I also read orange is the hardest of all three colors. Great purchase!

  • This one works fantastically!

    By on

We have purchased fun feeders in the past and while helpful, it never slowed him down enough. This feeder worked like a charm the first use and my dog (chewy/chewbacca) loved it. He went round and round in circles with the bowls design. The ease of having it directly shipped to my door was the icing on the cake. I work an incredibly busy schedule so I enjoy my time at home and not having to run to the store for small purchases.

  • Read the reviews

    By on

I wish I would've more thoroughly read the reviews. Every one kept saying it was too difficult and too frustrating for their dogs. My dog is small and has a long/skinny snout so I thought this wouldn't be too difficult for her but I was really wrong. It takes her almost 30 minutes to eat dinner...I end up dumping it out and let her eat out of my hand because my heart just breaks watching her struggle so bad. Maybe try the bowl that's the difficulty level lower than this one.

  • Effectively slows eating

    By on Top 500 Contributor

This slow-feeder bowl helps slow down the eating process. I have the smaller-size for my dog who is quite large/95lbs, as it still holds a lot of food. I have had this for several months and it works well for my dog. I do recommend this product if you need this type of thing to slow your dog's eating process.

  • No more inhaling her food

    By on

My little piglet would scarf her food down, then run over and vomit into my lap. I had to slow her down by only feeding 1/4 cup at a time but that took forever! I knew there had to be a better way...and this is it! Slows her down and frees me up to feed the rest of the crew..

  • slow and sloppy

    By on

Little doxie mix was a super fast eater. She still goes thru the motion of eating fast, but it takes her longer to go around the maze of this bowl. So fast that kibble flies out of the bowl, and my other dog is nearby catching the spill over. I chose bowl for color, not seeing that each color was a different design.

  • Husky halt

    By on

I am a 6-yr-old Husky mix pooch who has eaten way too quickly since my parents brought me home from the pound. I don't like the Fun Feeder very much since instead of taking 28 seconds to eat my meal, the Feeder makes me take a couple of minutes. It's challenging, but I'm smart enough to "clean my plate." And my parents sure do get a kick out of watching me work for my kibble.

  • Slower Eating

    By on

My lab rushes through meals and has made herself sick a couple times. We switched from a regular bowl to this swirly bowl to slow her down. It worked because a meal that once took 2 minutes now takes 10. She seems a lot happier after too (no upset stomach).

  • Bubs the inhaler now takes awhile to eat

    By on

This is perfect! We have the inhaler Bluenose pittie who loves his food; but eats so fast he probably doesn't taste it. This did the trick. Though he nudges my hand so I spill his kibble to avoid all of it in the new feeder.
