Perfect for our Zoe!
This lifejacket fits our Zoe perfectly and seems to be of great quality. She is able to move well in it and displays no signs of discomfort. And the i ing on the cake was the awesome customer service from Chewy when I initially ordered the wrong size. A win win for us and Zoe!!
not even close to the right size
On its loosest setting this “XS” would never fit my chihuahua (9in neck, 13in girth, 11.5in length, 6.5lbs). About 3 inches off. Big flop. It’s also stiff…. Doesn’t seem comfy. FLOP.
Safety First
This is a great life jacket for any dog! It of course is a little stiff because of the material but it's not like a dog can't move in it. I got this for my 60lb Pit Bull Mix who is such odd sizing. He's 24in long and 26in chest, with a 17in neck and the Large fits great! I love the Velcro attachment to wrap around them, it's extremely secure and I don't worry about it coming off him in the water or running around. I can't speak on how well it helps them float and keep their heads up as Pistachio has LONG legs so when he had it on he was still touching the bottom. We went to a little bay for him to play fetch in the water and even though I threw it pretty far, he was standing on his tip toes to grab the ball LOL

Great lifejacket for dogs!
My mini Goldendoodle is ~25 pounds but has a long and lean body. I wasn't sure what size to get her, as she was in the weight range for a small but her length was more the medium. I ordered both, and the medium was perfect. Still fit snugly around her body, but went all the way down her back. We took her swimming in the bay and it kept her afloat great! The handles on the top were really nice for pulling her back into the boat.

Could Do Better
I tested our new lifejacket by putting it on myself. I thought it was going to be great. HOWEVER, I know to keep my head up, my senior guy, not so much. His face went right under the water and he panicked. Took a bit to calm him, but once he settled down he enjoyed his time in the pool. I am considering modifying around the head with a pool noodle to be sure that he stays face up! It did hold his weight (95lbs) nicely. Hope this helps other non-swimmers parents.
Deep water Luna
Luna was getting to brave and going into the deep water which made me nervous, so it was time to get her a Life Jacket. Outward Hound life jacket was a great choice. It fits well a keeps her safe.
Size guide WRONG
Very disappointed in the size guide - it is truly off. My dog is basically in the middle of the guidelines for a large and it doesn’t fit - way too small. Going on a trip in two days and now my pup doesn’t have a life jacket. Bummed out.
Need to Return
This item is too small. I then ordered the small and it's a fit. May I please return this extra small?
