Will this work for a cat as a life jacket?

Outward Hound life jackets have not been tested with cats, so we cannot say whether or not the life jackets will work for cats.

Could Do Better

I tested our new lifejacket by putting it on myself. I thought it was going to be great. HOWEVER, I know to keep my head up, my senior guy, not so much. His face went right under the water and he panicked. Took a bit to calm him, but once he settled down he enjoyed his time in the pool. I am considering modifying around the head with a pool noodle to be sure that he stays face up! It did hold his weight (95lbs) nicely. Hope this helps other non-swimmers parents.

Size guide WRONG

Very disappointed in the size guide - it is truly off. My dog is basically in the middle of the guidelines for a large and it doesn’t fit - way too small. Going on a trip in two days and now my pup doesn’t have a life jacket. Bummed out.

Made very well but run small in sizing

I bought 3 of these and they all run small in sizing. I am happy with them but the small size that I ordered probably won't get used and I'll have to locate another medium size. I've not used them yet on the water but will very soon once it warms up this summer. The pricing on these are great tho!
